Saw these online as I was browsing today and thought that they were the cuteset idea! They are ribbons attached to a "wand" that you can get personalized with your names, wedding date, favorite quote, etc. These would also make for a good picture!

If ya can't tell I am all about pictures and I want my wedding pics to be amazing since I will look back on them for the rest of my life!

Since all I do at work it seems is flip through all of my bridal magazines (which i must add is quite a collection) i came across eco-friendly confetti. It is water soluable so there is no clean up and it is also safe for the environment. It comes in a wide variety of colors and I just love the idea. My favorite pictures are black and white with some color and I just think that would make an awesome picture walking out of the church. Now I know some places don't allow confetti so it may still be just my "wishful thinking" but I would love to do it. I know now a lot of couples do the whole bubble thing but from attending weddings in the past it just seems that nobody actually uses them when they are supposed to. A good friend of mine got married in April and in her pictures you can hardly tell that the guests were given bubbles to blow as they were walking out. I was even thinking if the bridal party was lined up on both sides and they threw the confetti it would still be a good photo opp.

Any thought or opinions on the confetti? Any other ladies doing confetti??

WOW!! I just realized that I have not posted anything since April......but I have been pretty busy all Summer. And I also just registered for classes at FDU for business so I will have my hands full starting next week. I have finally started to really look into reception spots and try to figure out the ones that I would like to look at. My only problem is I feel like I have so many that I want to look at!! Thats the one thing that I would like to get finalized soon even though our wedding isn't until 2010. One place that I had looked into was already booked for our date! So I would like to get that in order before I get busy with anything else!

I just read last night that New Jersey is the second highest state to plan a wedding when it comes to budget. That just seems crazy that it can cost more in NJ than in New York or California. So I guess I will just have to do a lot of DIY jobs when it comes to my wedding haha!!

I'm so excited.....we are getting our engagement pics done on Saturday! I thought the lady who is doing them was priced pretty reasonable and she doesn't copyright the pics so we can do whatever we want with them. If all goes well maybe I will have a photographer for the wedding

I just attended a bridal show last night and I think my colors are def going to be pink and green. i think they are perfect for a spring wedding. I was browsing online and saw this idea and loved it!! It just looks fun

Soo I know that most things I read say to wait when it comes to asking girls to be in your wedding. Well in the excitement of everything I asked all my girls withing a week or two of getting engaged. And now I'm having secong thoughts about one of my bridesmaids. We have been close friends for the past 3 years but have just grown apart in the last 6 months or so. We are just at different stages in our lives. I have a big wedding party as it is (7 including her) and just don't want drama from her on my wedding day. Another thing that really bothered me was the other day she told me she had to have a halter dress because they make her boobs look good. She doesn't care what the other girls have but she needs a halter. Now first of all....1. it's my day 2. why would you want your boobs hanging out of your dress when you are in someone else's wedding?? 3. if anyone was to have a different dress it would be my sister who is my MOH. I personally love halter dresses and would like my girls to have that style dress but with her saying that it makes me want the complete opposite.

Soo....has anyone else had bridesmaids problems?? I don't know what I should do about the whole situation. Keep her in it since I already asked her??

Well we have figured out the final date.....May 15, 2010. And yes I know that it is 2 years away!! This way we have time to save money & plan. I want our day to be perfect in every way and this gives me plenty of time to plan EVERY detail. Looking at the countdown in crazy.....761 days to go haha but i know that it is going to fly by. I can be sure that we will have the perfect Spring wedding that I have always dreamed about.

Soo....it finally came! I was kinda expecting it at Christmas and that never happened. Then we were going on a cruise in January so I thought I was def gonna get a ring then.....but NO. I mean what a perfect setting for a proposal. Sun, sand, beautiful scenery....everyday on the cruise i woke up thinking "maybe today is the day" haha. So after not getting my ring on the cruise i kinda gave up. well, not really gave up but stopped stressing about when i was going to get it. so valentine's day rolls along and we had no big plans and i didn't really care if we did anything. so john gets up and said he had some errands to run. about a half hour later the doorbell rings. it is some strange lady with balloons and cards. the card said to be ready for dinner "on the water" by 4. so he is gone most of the day because he knew i would bug him if he was home to tell me where we were going. we arrive at the chart house in philly and there are a dozen roses already sitting on our table. now the reality of the situation never even crossed my mind. after we order drinks and our dinner i open the card on the flowers. it said...where would i be without with you by my side? i would be nowhere thats where. i want you to be by my side for the rest of my life. with that said..... now after i read the card john got mad and said they forgot to put the other card in the envelope that finished what he was saying. so he said he would have to do it himself and got on kis knee and pulled out the ring. i instantly began crying and didn't even say yes. he had to ask me if the tears meant yes. soo all in all it was a wonderful day and proposal!! i can't wait to spend my life with him.....he is my soulmate
