So what is your budget?How are you ladies doing?

Brian and I are thinking $15,000.

But I have watched way to many bridal shows and they almost ALWAYS blow their budgets. And I'm not the big show type girl and Brian isn't into the idea of a wedding. So I am really hoping we stick to our budget as best as possible. We are spliting the bill between my parents, his parents, and we will be paying ourselves. So far we are sticking to budget with everything I have researched.


♥ Our Venue is $2,500

♥Catering for 175 people is about $3,000 without all the added extras. We are planning a buffet dinner.

♥ Our photographer is co-worker of my mom and she charges about $800, for everything including the disc of all our pictures.

♥Brian went to school with the DJ his brother used for his wedding and they did great. So the DJ is $500

So I don't think we are off to a horrible start.

So kinda random but I wondering who sleeps with their rings off or sleeps with them on.

I personally sleep with mine on because I am afraid of losing it or if by a one a million chance someone breaks in and steals it.

What do you do? and What is your reason if any for sleeping with or without your rings.

Brian and I are looking at 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen.
I'm not to sure if I want a flowergirl or a ringbear.

I was just curious as to how many of you are having a themed wedding. I always thought they were a cool idea because my cousin got married in Vegas and did "Lucky in Love" I also liked "Fall into Love" for fall. Anyways is anyone doing themes?

Here a picture of a cake I am really starting to like. I originally wanted a square cake but I found this one and love it! The only thing I would change is the butterflies and the flowers would be real. I also have a monogram cake topper that I love. It will be a "B" instead of an "M"

I really love Gerbera Daisy and am really leaning towards them. However I have heard that they don't last the whole length of a wedding because they wilt. I haven't talked to any florist. But I wanted to know what you have all heard first.

I am a big time scrapbook nut, and have scrapbooked every picture of Brian and I. So I wondered who was taking on the big task of scrapbooking all their wedding pictures. I have already started buying stuff because the scrapbook world is ALWAYS changing, and if you see something once you'll never see it again. the pictures I have posted are some of favorite pages so far

I am doing the watermelon color from Davids bridal. I love the whole bridal party picks their own dresses. Because I want them to feel comfortable with that they are in. And I think it will limit the whole "Ugly" bridesmaid dresses.

Here are some dresses I like. They are all from Davids Bridal. I am leaning more towards ivory then white.

Simple cheap and screams spring! I would use orange, pink, and yellow gerbera daises.

So I think these are so cool!!!! Haha they look so Yummy but they are HAND TOWELS. Crazy I wanna eat one.

So I am totally starting to fall in love with the whole candy buffet thing. I think I want to do little boxes with bright ribbons to help decorate the tables.But here is what i have found. My total absolute favorite is the pig suckers. It's something very personal for us because my nickname for Brian is Piggy

Brian and I are getting married in a garden so we want bright spring colors. This is the color schemes I have recently fell in love with. Pink is the color main color. The rest is still all in the air.

Hey everyone. I figured I would tell you a little about us. I'm Andrea and I met Brian online. We have lived in the same area and probably have seen each other probably half a dozen times throughout high school. I am currently in college to be a nurse, while Brian is a full time police officer. We have been together a little over a year. And I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

The proposal was absolutly perfect! We were hanging out in my room watching T.V. He was playing on his laptop at the end of my bed (on his knees) When he says Andie go get your laptop. I complained because it was down stairs. So I asked him if I could just see his. On the screen was a yahoo message "Will you marry me?" and he popped the ring out. I couldn't believe it!!!

I totally love my ring. Well I should I picked it out! The middle diamond is a hearts on fire diamond and it's AMAZING when the light hits it right. Peek a Boo diamonds on both sides.
