50s/Grease Theme

I've decided to have a Grease theme for my hens/bridal shower (Non alcoholic version) We are going to go on a warehouse shopping tour (It'll be the only time in 12 months I'm allowed to buy clothes for myself!!!!) AND then to the Milko bar, A 50s inspired retro milkshake bar and then to Hungry Jacks aka Burger King (Where I work too for some retro dinner!!)

I'm a manager at Hungry Jacks so It'll be really random and really fun :D

That sounds like a LOT of fun, and well done to go for something OTHER than Sex in the City!! I'm super glad you get to spoil yourself shopping too. This sounds like my type of hen's!

Haha It takes me weeks to recover from one night of drinking so I just don't bother :D I made a pact with FH that I wouldn't buy clothes (I'm an addict) over the twelve months we've been engaged (Other than things I need i.e Work shoes etc) And so far two months down and i'm becoming a pro plus it's encouraging my friends to spend less :D

I love dressing up and Grease is just wayyyyy too much fun :D

Good for you! I had made a similar decision (I'm not an addict, but do buy stuff that I don't need every couple of weeks) to be 'better', and I haven't done too badly... except for the other week when Valley Girl had 40% off and the new season's stuff is SO CHIC!!!

Ah whoops, that probably wasn't very kind of me, hey. Sorry! lol

It's soooo hard.. Whats not kind is my Wonderful *Glares* Fiance who takes me to DFO when I actually have money but can't spend it on anything!!!! AHHH!
