Wedding Flowers
Flower dilemma!!
So as most of you should know, Australia had a pretty eventful summer.
With incredible floods, cyclones and minor earth quakes it's a shock anything will grow at all!! We went in to the florist hoping and praying our flowers had bloomed and nope nothing :( Not a single one of my choices had bloomed!! He ran through a few options, Calla lillies (Really don't like these), Roses (Too expensive) and tulips (Don't seem formal enough). Tonight when I was looking up flowers I found carnations. Yes that good ole' flower carnations. Sturdy as all heck and can be coloured anything you could imagine!! Now when I saw this pic to the right I thought of our centrepieces. (Tissue paper pom poms) Do you think Carnations would be too tacky? |

Wedding Planner
Sad news :(
Well the last few days have been incredibly hard. I started bleeding about two days ago and we think we may be miscarrying but have to wait for the hospital to call us back on monday. It's going to be an incredibly long and painful wait. It's so hard and right before the wedding just sucks!!
Anyways we are prepared for the worst but hoping for the best and we will just have to wait and see. We have planned all our hens, bucks and bridal shower. On the 8th of June i'm having my hens night We are going to Chicks at the flicks. It's an event where they pick one movie to do an advanced screening and they give out prizes etc and it's Girls only!! Lucky for me this months Chicks at the flicks have chosen "Bridesmaids!!" :) Andrews bucks he is going to skirmish with the boys around lunch time and then partying it up at night. And my bridal shower my mum has organised but it's a kitchen tea :D It's going to be heaps of fun!! As sad as this weekend has been I am sure things will get better |

ONE MONTH TO GO!!!!
Wow only a month to go!!
We were given a massive blessing (of the financial kind) from Andrews parents this morning. When he called to let me know I was like "oh thank god!!!" It's a massive weight off our shoulders knowing we can now definitely afford the wedding :D We have so much to do!! And I cannot wait to get stuck into them! We have decided on our vows, our sand ceremony wording, ceremony music. :D Can't wait! EEp!! |

We bought our chair covers off ebay. We got 120 of them (should only need 100) and then we made 100 small tissue paper pom poms to attach to the back of the chairs :D

We found the perfect song! It's amazing... Only problem, It hadn't been released in Australia. I was so devastated I emailed the management for the artist and just let them know I was upset. :P

To do list!
With almost only a month left until our wedding i'm starting to feel the pressure!!
This is my "this week" to do list * On the top of my to do list is to organise the order of service!! * I also need to finalise the grooms suits on saturday * I need to send off the photo booth hire sheet, the limo hire sheet and the photographer hire sheet. * Andrew and I need to write our vows * Decide on a first dance song * Arrange rehearsal * Talk to grandpa re: order of service (he is our minister) phew! Hopefully if I break it down into smaller tasks it won't be so daunting :D |

Hair and Make Up Trial
Hi Ladies,
I'm having my hair and make up trial the week before the wedding and I can't decide what to do. Mum suggested to have the rehearsal dinner that night but we can't. We have to have the rehearsal on the Friday before. Then I was thinking maybe my FH and I should go out on a date that night. But then should I keep my hair and make up a secret from FH should it be a surprise. He doesn't know what it's going to look like or what my dress is like. All he knows is I'll have hair extensions in and it's REALLY expensive :P Any ideas? What did you guys do? |

EXHAUSTED!!
Wow I cannot believe it's 41 days left!
I feel completely exhausted beyond belief. I had to quit my job last week as my body is just not cooperating. Morning sickness is just unbearable but now we have the stress of finances! We really did get ourselves into a bit of a pickle!! Hopefully everything just comes together nicely and we can look back at all this stress and just laugh. |

49 DAYS and some good news :D
WOW!! I'm so excited! I just finished an epic long weekend of working (Easter and Anzac day holidays) and can finally focus on the wedding!
Well firstly we have news!! Andrew and I found out last week that we are expecting!! It may be the size of a sesame seed but it's causing chaos in my body. It was completely unplanned (obviously!) but we are both overjoyed (and scared)! We found out our due date is December the 26th! Wedding planning wise everything is coming together. We got our bonuses from work this week which REALLY helped with paying off the wedding :D Everything is really really looking up! It's doing my head in at the moment all the things we need to do in such a short space of time! 49 days!!!! and it's 240 days until our baby is here! And as all us WBC brides know that time just FLIES!!! |
