My hubby is a civil engineer for a construction company and he proposed on a new bridge that his company built so the cake was very fitting. I love the look and so does my sister. My mom isn't totally sold on the fake eyelashes. What are your thoughts ladies. Should I go with or without the eyelashes??

Bridesmaids
dresses are in!!!!
The girls minus one and I went to pick up their dresses the other day. We are all happy with the way they turned out. Keep in mind that for some reason in the picture the blue looks lighter when actually it is a very dark navy almost black. I think it was just my camera and the crappy lighting in the store.

We Just Bought Our First Home!!!!!
we move in two weeks before the wedding crazy crazy busy
Well after months of searching we have found our first home. What a crazy and excited beginning. 64 days till the wedding and all the planning is done. All that is left to do is go for my final dress fitting wow.

Wedding Hair Style
Which do you prefer?
Hey ladies
So I have a pretty good idea for what I want in terms of hair style on my wedding day but now I need some help narrowing it down. Please help!!! I plan in wearing my bangs down with a low up do and I plan on wearing a veil that goes underneath the style or a bird cage veil. I also want there to be some height on top. |

Ceremony Music
Calling all my Scottish brides
Well it has to be known that Matt and I are so lucky because my sisters boyfriend is a beautiful guitar player. Since my sister is my MH we thought it would be nice for him to be a part of the wedding so he has agreed to play the music we have selected in the church for the ceremony. I am so excited about this because I am not a church going person (that is Matt's domain) and so I thought it brought a little edge to the stuffy church ceremony.
He will be playing Jesus, Joy of man's desiring for when guests are being seated. Like grandparents and mothers and so on. Canon in D for when my bridesmaids walk down The Bridal Chorus for when I walk down with my dad and then Name by the Goo Goo Dolls when we are signing our marriage license This is where I need some help though. We are having a traditional Scottish piper walk ourselves along with the bridal party out of the church and I don't know what song to pick for that. Any suggestions |

Food Tasting PLEASE HELP
So my fiance and I really love our venue but it is getting to be that time when we start doing the fine tuning things. However, we are having some major issues around the food tasting. First off they are telling my FH and I that there is a charge for the tasting (which when I think about all the money I am spending on the actual day is a ridiculous request) It seems through the emails as well is that they are wanting us to pick our menu and then they will have us taste the main dish once we have chose. Well we can't decide between a stuffed chicken breast or the fillet of beef so we wanted to taste both before deciding.
So ladies I am really wanted to hear your stories and to see what has been offered to you so that I make sure I am not being walked over. Thanks is advance |

honestly the most painless thing in the world. We were all in and out in 1 hour!
All the dresses are are midnight blue.......and we are still deciding whether or not to shorten my sisters (maid of honor) dress so that it fits with the other girls. I would like it short but my mom and her are fighting me on it. What are your thoughts? |
