Long Overdue Update
It's been a while!
Hello fellow WBC brides!
It has been a super long time since I have update on here! 3 months! Lots has changed since then! I am in full on planning mode, invites are getting printed, all deposits are made, little wedding projects are underway (DIY flowers, cake topper, etc) I am helping plan my jack and jill with my girls, which is probably the biggest thing on my mind these days. I also have my bachelorette party being planned for the end of May. I'm super excited, this is going to be an awesome summer. We are having a hard time with FH's wedding band, it seems that the store is screwing us around, we ordered at the beginning of December and have paid for it and they keep saying it has been ordered and re ordered and should be in soon. I'm going to go in there soon and get mad because our big day is coming fast. The next big project I am going to tackle is sending out our invatations. I am nervous to do this though because I think I'm going to offend people since I am not having kids or a dinner. I know that in the end though, its me that I have to make happy so I need to do what I want for me. Well, I'm out to do some more playing :) Happy wedding planning all! |

Photographer Pregnant!
EEEEK! Just had dinner with my photographer and a few other friends.
Erica and her husband had asked everyone to go out for dinner and this is where they told us the wonderful news! She is about 8 weeks along and they are very happy! And so are we! She is due in June or July... I am getting married June 11! This could be bad... Of course I didn't say anything to her and I'm not going to for a little while but I am really really hoping that we don't have to find another photographer! I really really like her and feel comfortable with her! Only time will tell!! How would you handle this!?! |

Wedding Decoration
Centrepieces Decided and Started!
I have FINALLY decided on what to do for my centrepieces (with the help of my Momma :) )
I am putting two of these per table with an led candle in them. How you make them: wine glass vellum paper (get at any craft store) led candle beads wire My mom and I took a similar design to my invites, and got the pattern for the shade online and photoshopped in what we would like it to look like, printed them and taped them, put it on top of the wine glass and volia! For the charms, I just took the same idea as a wine glass charm but made it with my colours! I'm happy in the way they turned out... Cost for the whole thing Wine glass - $1.00 +/- Vellum Paper - $8.00 for 20 pcs Beads - $15.00 for all (incl. charms) LED lights - not sure yet! The shade is bend in the pictures lol I had to shove them in my purse!! |

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
EEK! Bought the wedding bands today!
FH and I bought out bands today!! Was a really big purchase but I feel sooo good that its over... AND I LOVE THEM!!!
Mine is the matching band for my engagement ring, and his is a tungsten carbide one! :) YAY to checking things off the list!! Wedding acct. is drained though hahaha Sorry some of them are sideways and that the quality isn't great, I wasn't using my good camera! |

Off Topic - Frustrated
Braces.
Sorry everyone this is the beginning of my rant.
I have had braces since December 2007. They were supposed to be off in a year and a half. This December will make 3 years. Double the time they were supposed to be on. I have been bugging my orthodontist for a while now, wanting to know when they will be off. The last he told me was by Christmas they will be off. So I was all excited for New Years, I would have my braces off and everything would be good, I'm getting my second set of engagement pictures done in the spring just for the very fact that my braces would be off. I go to my appointment today, and GUESS WHAT! he told me they won't be off until the snow is melting (March-ish) I am getting married in June, so sure, this leaves a lot of time for me to get everything settled with my teeth. The only thing is, I don't know how much I can trust what he is saying, will they really be off, or will it be another let down? I am just looking forward to having my braces off and not looking like a 12 year old anymore, I look young in the first place, and I'm sure braces aren't helping me. Sorry for the big rant, I'm just frustrated and annoyed. Does anyone else feel my pain? |

DIY Frustration!!!
OMG girls I'm so frustrated about my stupid flowers!! I am using fake flowers for all my bouquets and I am having such a hard time with it.
I like the short stubby ones, if you know what I mean, I will attach a picture, and I like it wrapped with ribbon, But mine are coming out long, skinny and ugly. Have you made your own flowers? Do you have any tips?! ALSO, my colours are black and white, buy my dress is ivory, so I am making my flowers ivory, should I make the girls flowers ivory or white? I am thinking ivory just for pictures but I don't know! HELP! |

Wedding Checklist!
Hey ladies! Sorry I seemed to have taken a mini vacation from WBC! Busy I guess! :) Hope everyone had a fun Halloween, FH and I went has Fred and Wilma :)
My weight watchers is still going great! I have lost 7 lbs +/- and I hope to lose 7 more to reach my goal weight :) I need to get back in wedding mode I think, times a ticking! :) Done: -wedding hall -dj -photographer -dress -food -officiant -some decor -girls prezzies are under way! Need to do! -find BM dress (this is harder than I thought it would be!! :S) -find table clothes/chair covers -order cake and put deposit -figure out rehearsal dinner -finalize guest list (im struggling with inviting people from work:S) -finish invites and could start addressing/stuffing -flowers -FH needs to decide on his damn groomsmen. I don't know what hes waiting for and I don't want to push and bug but, times a tickin -tux's -jack and jill -rings! -need to find hair and makeup place -make time line for day of -figure out all the dance songs - get GM gifts -figure out centrepieces and favours - wa. -marriage license can you girls think of anything else? this list just threw me for a loop! Ooops I didn't realize how much I still had to do! :) Time to jump back on the wedding wagon:) xoxo |

Hi Everyone :)
Just wanted to give an update of how my weight watchers is going so far! I cannot get over how easy this has been! I'm actually having a hard time eating all of my alloted points (I think this will get better with practicing and planning my meals, but I can already notice a difference in the way I am feeling. Usually by 2pm I'm so tired and dragging my feet, but its 8:30pm and I worked all day, had my night school tonight and came home and did the dishes and I feel awake still! I'm very excited that something is actually working for me :) Ive set a goal weight for my self, which I don't want to share right now, I'm still slightly embarrassed of my weight! (I can't believe how it snuck up on me!) Just wanted to update :) I'm just reallllly excited!! :D |
