Scary, Wonderful & Completely Romantic.
Its around 9pm and I am told to close my eyes & come with him. He leads me by the hand into the middle of the Spare room. Right away I can smell candles, feel their warmth & even with my eyes still closed see flickers of light. "can I open my eyes?" Nope I am not allowed. In fact I have to keep my back to him! His voice is shaky, there's a long Pause of silence, what feels like an eternity to me! Finally he starts to play music on his guitar & sing my favorite song of the moment.
Everything by Michale Buble. After the song, I am allowed to open my eyes & at first i'm sweeping the room looking at all the candles. And then I turn around, he's down on one knee, holding the ring box. I honestly can not remember exactly what he said, except for "Will you Marry me?" My heart was pounding so hard! It was hard to breathe! Of course I accepted & here we are! Planning the wedding!
