cake, The original that we wanted. But I think we are off the polka dots & onto the quilted technique. I do love that this ones incorporated all of our colors!

purple
white, I think I may be leaning towards this one now. Except maybe without the colored ribbon & just having rhinestones around each layer!
red, I think its my least fav.

Wedding Cake
THE CAKE!

So I really want a funky fun cake! I am pretty handy in Photoshop, so I have been cutting & pasting together a cake from other cakes I have seen & I think we have come up with a winner, but I'd love your thoughts!
The cake will have to be fondant, (although we both hate the taste of fondant) To get the damask pattern on there. It will have either a real, or fondant flower on the side, but nicer than in the photo. We are having our intials on the top of the cake. Originally we wanted 4 layers, (with stripes, damask & polka dots) but I guess with 85 guests we really only need 3! Plus I have fallen in love with the quilting technique. So now I'm Trying to decide between the new versions of the cake & if I should include colored ribbon or not! Or a colored layer or just keep it black & white! Fun Fun Fun! Any thoughts?

you don't have to go with fondant to get the Damask you can request buttercream and have the demask pattern stenciled on to your cake. You can also get Royal Icing which is more stiff but still taste good on your cake ( helps to inquire) :)
