We found out that we are expecting! We are excited! We haven't told a lot of people but his whole family knows because he couldn't keep his mouth shut LOL! At least my mom and sister knows...I will tell everyone else when I'm a couple of months - at least I'll have a due date...LOL!

My mom had a lady take some cameo, photojournalism pictures and I will upload them later but this is one of me while we were doing the second line dance...

People always think that their wedding has to be sooo cookie cutter! I seen this wedding and thought that it was nice! They look really happy and it was a great way to incorporate their colors. They look very comfortable and that's what counts! So to all you think differently brides out there-Go for what you want and never mind what other people might say or think -it's your wedding!

This is an amature picture of my two boys in the wedding...Their knicker suits was a very big hit...It's not a good picture but you can see how they looked sooooo handsome! They helped me make my "Here comes the bride" banner and the back of it said "And they lived happily ever after" but that part wasn't seen til after they were walking down the isle after the ceremony.

Some pictures that one of my cousins took! What would I have done without him - Jeremy was our usher. Don't we look great!?!

Ok this is not the best picture but I wanted to show yall how beautiful our cake came out...

It was made with buttercream icing, amaretto cake, and barvarien cream....mmmm....She also dusted some pearl like shimmer on it. I picked out the style of cake and the stand since our theme was butterflies, diamonds and pearls.

The figurene was supposed to be the cake topper but it fell off the cake when a door was closed. We had to compromise, so I wanted to put a big diamond at the top and some pearls hanging down but the baker was too afraid it would have fallen so I just stuck some ostrich feathers at the top.

I was tired of waiting for our real pictures to come in and will be trying to get in contact with some of my guests who took pictures in order to satisfy my patients LOL!..

I also had some big diamonds on the table but I guess people swiped them. I was angered by that but I knew that would've happened.

I remembered it being months, and days, and now it's a whole month since we married!

I have just found this site not long before our wedding...I miss it and it's been only 27 days since our big day...I find myself coming on here to try to give good advice for brides in need... I still have my page up because I never got the chance to put up our pictures and stuff. Being that there is soooo much storms that comes in or coming in...it has our photos and stuff pushed back.... :( but anyway, I'll try to answer all the questions you throw at me.... I love this site!!!!

There was this perfect party that went on the Thursday before our wedding so we decided to go there and get our grown and sexy on! The music was from today and when we all were in college and they threw in a couple of old school songs. The guys and girls were fly and the bride to be had a blast. My poor hus2b was having sooo much fun, he drank himself a trip to la la land- back to the car and was knocked out lol! I felt sooo sorry for him! but we made sure he got home safely and he was awake and felt good for the next day -the wedding...dun dun dun!!!!!

Children planning...

Me and my huz2B are talking about babies and we didnt' think about it til his mom asked us about our cats and babies. I have two children from a previous blah blah. We have 4 cats together. We have heard about diseases and stuff but we keep our cats healthy by bringing them to the doctors. They are indoor cats and they usually are locked in our room with the bathroom open. I've read all types of different things bout what his mom is fearing. Oh yeah, she doesn't like cats at all. One article says that as long as the cats are healthy and in house and don't eat raw things like an outside cat does we will be ok. Also, how a pregnant woman should stay away from the cats' litter box and not change it. We really don't want to get rid of our cats because we are sooo attached to them. It will be hard to find good homes for them because we love them sooo much. Did any of you run into this problem?

Just a few more to tide yall over LOL! I can't wait!!!!

I thought I would have finished last month but I was sick so I still had things to do! I finally had help -my mom came and we knocked everything out in a few hours! All, I have to say is DONE!!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!

so, I finally took my pics and I just got the proofs. I have plenty more to show but I will after the wedding is over.... Tee Hee Hee...I can't wait!!!!

My family is very weird. My mom and dad has been seperated for 11 years. Even at my brother's funeral which was 3 years ago, my dad didn't sit with my mom or even tried to console her while she was crying. They never got a divorce and now it's time for my wedding. A little about my grandma (my dad's mom) my dad lives with her and they really don't get a long either too much (I'm talking about my mom and my dad too) I will have some reserved seating so they could pick their own tables to sit at. Do I even bother to reserve the seating because all I know is that my dad will not sit with my mom and my mom will not sit with my grandma and my dad will not sit with any of my grandmas. LOL! He's just a loner but he does things to get on my nerves about the whole situation. Why can't he just get along just for that one day? I know he will not because he didnt' do it for my brother's funeral... What shall I do?

I'm soooo nervous! I've been around hurricanes all my life. I live right at the bottom on Louisiana. We knew it would've been hurrican season when we picked our date but we pray that none would come at all. So far, we had 4 named storms. My fiance asked me the big ol what if question and I just froze! I told him that we'll track down a priest to marry us on that day! It just has to go on 8/8/8. We could have the big wedding and reception on another day. What would you do in a time of crisis?

My invitations have been printed and shipped out already! I just had a few I haven't gave out yet and my grandma is one of them. Well, I have finally got to her and gave her one and she looked at it and had a big frown on her face. She is very hard to please like if it's not enough what ever you do! So I asked her why such the bull dog face maw maw!?! What did I do now? And she said it's nice but where's your parents' names on it! And then she went on and on about respect and blah blah blah! I told her after thinking very hard before selecting the wording style on the invitation. First I'm living with my Fiance - Second, I am 30 years old and have children on my own - Third, I am paying for the whole shabang with no help -and finally Forth, It would've cost more if I would've had more names/lines on them! I couldn't get through to her (you know how old people get? well, mine is 20 Xs worst!) I didn't say everything harsh like that but still! Now, tell me, am I wrong?

I take my pictures next Thursday and am taking them outside. I don't want to get my dress dirty! Do you just go with the flow? Do you bring blankets? Or do you just bring your dress to the cleaners after? I am nervous about that.

I went to one about a month ago and I got selected to do a cake dive. It was a long cake with big diamond rings with the alphabet on it. I was one of 50 brides selected. There were only 25 rings A-Z (not including X). I dove in it and it was sooo gross but worth it! I got J and won a prize. I will post up pictures soon. I was covered with cake LOL! I was ready! LOL! I kept posing like bridezilla and lots of people took pictures of me! LOL! I won a night in a nice hotel. I was grateful I even gotten a chance to do this. It was fun!

We all spend $ on our wedding. Can we keep our receipts and do a write off on our taxes next year? HMMMMMMM!!!!!!

My engagement ring is already beautiful and he's getting me two bands (one to wear first, then the ring, then one for the top) . I don't know if he'll have them saudered before the wedding or after it. Are you doing yours.....

ok so originally, I thought of my two boys to be our ring bearers. I have an 11 year old brother and I really didn't have anything for him to do. So I thought that he would be a good bible boy. Then I ran into this picture. How about my brother being the ring bearer and my boys be the pagers? Hmmmm....I need some help!

I really like the love is patient, love is kind verse but I want to use something else. I have found one from 1 John but we are still trying to decide. What bible verses are you using?

I have brought a card board wishing well. Someone told me to rent the lock box one from somewhere. That makes it a little safer but who is it to say that someone who really wants to steal it, that they won't just steal the whole thing and still get the contents? I'm pretty worry about that. I know some of you are making your own but do you have any worries?

Ok so I found out how much it'll cost just for the dancers to dance a 4 minute dance. They want to charge me $250! And that's for 5 people. Now, they did say that 3 could dance for $150 but that's really a lot. I just don't know what to do b/c that kind of crushed my idea so now I have to think of something else.....


I am very unhappy about that.


By the way, the dancers are breakdancers boooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! (bottom lip is hanging low)

I've seen plenty of garter tosses and they were all different. Some had the bride sitting by themselves and some had the bride sitting on the best man. Is there a sertain reason?

My gown looks like my bridesmaids dress except it's the opposite colors. I'm torn about my veil. I've brought a veil but it's long and not long enough to be called a cathedral veil and one layer. and then there is the old faithful birdcage veil...which one would you pick? I don't want my veil to conflict with the back of my dress....which one?
