What will make your day unique?

I'm working on deciding what will details will make my day special and I'm just wondering what you ladies are going to do?

Here's what my hubby to be and I have decided on so far ....

ENTRANCE SONG

I fell in love with the JK Wedding Entrance and the moment I showed my hubby to be he decided we had to do it. For those of you who haven't seen it yet:





CONVERSE

We are having a Converse wedding. Both my Groom and myself along with most of our wedding party will be wearing Converse and on our invitation we will invite our guests to do so aswell. We're hoping our photographer will be able to get an awesome shot of all Converse together.

KIDDIES

We plan on having a KIDS ONLY table fun of activites and games to keep all the little ones entertained.

FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE

My daddy has agreed to do this dance with me. :) However, I'm worried that if I have more than one surprise dance my guests will get bored of it. But here's the youtube video of it.





FOOD

We're having an after supper wedding so there wont be a sit down meal. But we will be having a desert buffet. Ourselves and our families will be doing the deserts but we'll have someone else do our cake. We're also going to get pizza delivered later at night! :D

MAKING OUR EXIT(S)

We are having our ceremony and reception at the same venue, actually right in the same hall. So we are going to leave after our ceremony hopefully in vintage car and I'd love if guests would blow bubbles as we're leaving. At the end of the night I'd like to leave the sparklers. :)

FAVOURS

I'm thinking for favours we will actually give favours. Little sheets of paper rolled up tied with a bow. I'm thinking of printing off 2 or 3 favours on each one so guests can make a choice about their favour. Most of them will have the option of us buying them a drink because we can't afford an open bar.

Those are all super ideas!  I think some of them are adorable!  Some of the things that make us unique:
1.)  Very unique first dance with songs we remember from childhood
2.)  Soft serve ice cream sundae buffet
3.)  Motorcycle gift presentation in middle of wedding
4.)  Photo booth (somewhat unique)
5.)  We are having mexican food with a nacho station
6.)  Also having a kids table full of some our favorite games

Unique:
1. we are having an aerial dancer (dancing from the ceiling).
2. We are having Arabic music to represent my culture.
3. We are dancing with sticks and handkerchiefs (another arabic tradition).
4. Having a dessert bar (creme brulees baked in spoons, truffles, etc and baklava!)
5. We are having a red carpet with velvet rope and backdrop upon entrance...

Sounds like fun annamarie!!  I love the Converse..because I am a sneaker fan myself, but the favor idea is nice..what a good way to thank your guests in a practical way!

Some things that will be unique for my wedding in 3 days!!:
1.  We have a really fun choreographed first dance to Alicia Keys "Unthinkable".  Its a mix of mambo and swing.
2.  I will be performing a surprise hula for my love.  He has no idea!!
3.  He and his guys are wearing Jordans the whole time, but my girls will wear colored Vans sneakers for the reception.
4.  I will toss a breakaway bouquet at the reception.  The bouquet will break into 3 parts once it is tossed over my shoulder.  Three lucky ladies will "catch the bouquet"

1. Im Making My Bouquet Breakaway Into 5 Parts. Each Part Will Have A Funny " Fortune ". Ex; " You Will Marry A Eskimo And Live On A Penguin Farm"
2. Were Having An Ice Cream Buffet Also. Still Debating On DIY Or Having Marble Slab Do It.
3. My Mother Is Walking Me Down The Aisle.
4. Our Cake Table Will Be A Vintage Side Table With A Wall Of Mirrors Behind It. ( Were Having An Outside Wedding With Alice In Wonderland Touches. His Friend Is Building Me A " Wall " To Set Up.
5. He Is Also Building A Photo Wall And We Will Have A Seperate Photographer And A Bunch Of Props.
6. We Are Having Cup Cakes And A Two Layer Cake To Cut And Save.
7. The Guys Are Going To Wear Skull Silk Screen Ties.
8. We Are Having 2 Receptions. The First With Beers And Sangria And Wine Only With Kids. The 2nd, An All Out Party With No Kids.
