Yahoo! We finaly found a reception hall and a place for our outdoor ceremony! We will have an outdoor ceremony at Parkwood Estate and then we will make our way to Holiday Inn where we have reserved a reception hall! This will be perfect as the majority of our guest are from out of town so they will be able to stay there!

Wedding Reception

halls, halls, $$$$

Wow! Now I truly understand why people say that wedding are so expensive! I have been hunting for a hall for the last week.... and the prices are more than I expected! As we are payong for most of the wedding.... we need to be realistic! Do we really wanna carry a debt load over the next few year for a one day celebration! Looks like we are going to have our reception at the Holiday Inn. Althought the outside might be not as attractive as one would wish, the prices are great and so far we have had great service with the reception coordinator! And really most of our guests are from out or town so this option makes sense..... no driving involved for our guests!

Engagement

Really sweet!

On March 16th me and Scott, my partner of 6years and a half, decided that it was time for a little getaway! He took me to Stratford (On) where he grew up as a kid. We walked around town and in the late afternoon he took me to a waterfall where he used to sepnd some time as a kid, but it wasn't working for some reason..... So we tok a stroll along the Avon river and crossed over to a quite island.... We sat on a bench and that's where we made his speach! I was speech less! I barely remember anything he said! Before leaving, he engraved our name in the wooden bench were he proposed! So romantic!
