Isn't she a darling? I love her A-Line silhouette, 3/4 length sleeves and her sweet little pockets. She is the perfect match for me!

I have to admit I was a little hesitant to order a dress online, especially because I had not even gone dress shopping yet. I couldnt stop thinking about this one though and decided that I did not need a traditional long gown.

Even though this dress was a far cry from what I initially envisioned when it arrived and I tried it on, I knew it was love. My face lit up and I couldnt stop smiling ear to ear. I only need to have the hem shortened; otherwise she fits like a glove. So excited to get married and dance the night away in this dress!

Did any of you pick a dress completely different from what you thought you would?

Did any of you order a dress online without being able to try it on first?

I think i'd be hesitant to buy a dress online too, because you never know how it'll fit, but there's always alterations! A girl I work with ordered a dress online and was SO nervous, but after she got it in, she was glad she ordered it online! She couldn't find anything she loved in the stores.

I ended up with a COMPLETELY different dress than I went into the salon wanting.
Because of my figure, I thought I'd want something ballgown-y and looser, something to hide the weight I'd gained after having my daughter.
When I started trying gowns on, I started realizing I had the fit all wrong!! I'm going to post a few pictures of the dress I went in wanting, and the one I ended up with , this week sometime, so you can see the difference!
I mean I never thought I'd buy anything with lace, or anything fit & flare, but I LOVE my dress.

My advice: Go with your gut! Only you know what you like! I think the dress is adorable! Very different, and unique!

PS tea length is SO on trend right now! So you'll look super chic!

this dress is very me. another thing I ultimately worried about was how my parents would feel about my dress, i expected them to want me in something traditional, but when I showed it to them they just smiled and said it was perfect for me!

Oh I love this dress! I am just only seeing your post on this for some reason. I can see why you fell in love with it. It's absolutely freaking crazy adorable! LOL

I also ordered my dress online. But I ordered the dress that I've always wanted and I was in love with it when it arrived and I put it on for the first time.
