My Engagement Ring

This is the little beauty that the boy proposed with, it belonged to his grandmother who wore it in the fifties! I absolutely love it!

I found it incredibly touching and sweet that his family wanted him to have it to propose to me. It makes me smile every time I look at my ring finger. I'll share more details about the proposal and our history in a later blog.

I'm thinking a very dainty gold wedding band would look lovely paired with it without distracting from its beauty.

I have to agree with you. I don't really like yellow gold, but this is a very attractive ring. Very good job with the pics too. You can see the nice details. Lovely!
