Can you believe these pasties?
I thought a nice touch for some clear glass vases would be to have this color beta swimming around in the centerpieces. My mother pointed out that it might not be appetzing to see a fish poop while you are trying to eat dinner.
And I can't believe this photo of these pasties I found. I bet they would be great for the honeymoon. Lastly, here is a picture of a mother of the bride dress by Mori Lee. I love the color because its not too bright nor is it the same color as the bridesmaid dresses. |

Wedding Cake
Peacock Cakes
Here a some interesting to wild cakes. I don't want a real feather stuck in icing, it seems strange to me. However, I love the all white cake with just a few feather accents. I should learn how to make a fake feather.
In the January issue of Matha Stewart's Wedding magazine, they spotlighted a peach wedding cake. The color was peach too, but that part wasn't important. The inside of the cake looked amazing. Peach cake with a peach buttercream icing. I am now determined to find a bakery that can custom make my peach cake. Of corse every flavor but the one I want is offered at all the local specialty cake makers. What is a girl to do? |

Wedding Hair Style
Peacock Feather hair pieces
Here are a few beautiful hair pieces I have found from searching the internet and mostly on ebay. It would be nice to have each bridesmaid wear a different accessory. I bet I could make one easily and have it look just as good. I think I will do just that...

Accessories
Hear are some beautiful accessories that will vamp up all the use of white. I would not use the headband and earrings at the same time. I am going to choose one or the other.

Use of Color
Because I am using the peacock feather as my main inspiration, I wanted to keep the rest if the colors and decor kind of clean and simple to make the "eye" of the feather pop a little bit more. If I used deep dark colors you kind of lose the brightness of the feather. So when you look at it against white, cream or ivory itt looks geart. I am using all different white and cream flowers, curly willows and peacock feathers in my centerpieces. I love the picture of this cake and boutonniere, except the boutonniere will be wrapped in black satin- not brown.
