Here a some interesting to wild cakes. I don't want a real feather stuck in icing, it seems strange to me. However, I love the all white cake with just a few feather accents. I should learn how to make a fake feather.
In the January issue of Matha Stewart's Wedding magazine, they spotlighted a peach wedding cake. The color was peach too, but that part wasn't important. The inside of the cake looked amazing. Peach cake with a peach buttercream icing. I am now determined to find a bakery that can custom make my peach cake. Of corse every flavor but the one I want is offered at all the local specialty cake makers. What is a girl to do?
