Cake
A much better daisy cake!
So I went off on a random tangent and decided to explore daisy weddings. Well I found a much prettier cake. The one I posted in the last entry was nice . . . but not really elegant. This one is a much more elegant take on the daisy theme. I like it :)

I also added another cake I found that uses tiny white flowers made of frosting. I could have white daisies made in that same style.

The one problem with daisies is it adds a lot of yellow to everything. I HATE YELLOW! Grrr. Stupid yellow! The cake in the picture has all whites and even pink bouquets next to it. So maybe it could still work for me. Hmmmm . . .

Any visitors, what do you think? Could daisies go with a more pink themed wedding? Or does the presence of the yellow really alter the pink and white theme?

I think the yellow in the daisy is subtle enough to be pulled off with white and pink.  It's not like you're doing sunflowers!

If you use the pink gerber daisies, the yellow will be much less noticeable.  That way, you can still do daisies, stick to the pink theme, and tone down on the *evil* yellow.  (Plus, I'd love to carry gerber daisies!!)

I agree about the gerberas. I love daisies either way but for a cute gerbera daisy cake check out luckynluv in the pink bios. I absolutely love that cake, its so pretty.

I would use white gerbers, they're lovely and 'traditional' looking without sticking you to a color scheme you hate!
