This is ashleybrogan's Yellow Wedding!

Well, we have paid the deposit for Country Club of the North! Next month sometime I'll get to pick out chair covers, linens, all of that fun stuff. And food! lol... I'm pretty excited.

And about 2 weeks ago I ordered my dress! It's so pretty, I love it. :-) The store said it won't be here until June, though... I really hope it gets here sooner.

We've got a cake baker and DJ lined up, too. And yesterday I figured out our invitations and how I want to design them. Woohoo, I'm so excited!!

Well, I think that we've found our dream place for the wedding and reception! It's call Country Club of the North, in Beavercreek, Ohio. We did a tour last Friday and it was so lovely. And with the price, it includes the tables, chairs, linens, china, real silverware, glasses, so on and so forth! So no worrying about renting all of that stuff. And the club is ours the whole day of the wedding. There are separate "locker" rooms for the ladies and gents. And in the ladies there are mirrors everywhere, a large area for hair and makeup, a HOT TUB and a SAUNA! What a treat, huh? I can't wait!

I thought I'd start a blog to (maybe) help me stay somewhat sane during this planning process!

My colors are going to be white, black, and yellow accents. I would love to incorporate damask print into my reception design. So far I've called a few places, and put a hold on two dates. We want to get married outdoors. I envision a gazebo. :-) And then I want to have the reception in a rustic barn setting. Check out Polen Farm in Kettering, it's the perfect place for us!
