This is augustbride08's Green Wedding!

I'm feeling so distracted lately. I love planning, but I have "wedding" on the brain seriously 24/7! Even when I'm sleeping I'm dreaming about something wedding related. I'm at work during the day and I'm constantly writing out To-Do lists. My FH is a High School teacher and he has the rest of the summer off so he's always asking what he can do, phone calls he can make, errands he can run, etc. Which is a big help don't get me wrong, but he's always calling me on my work phone asking me questions about everything I give him to do. Ugh!!
Sometimes I'm so distracted at work I hardly do any "work" work for at least an hour at a time. I told myself "no wedding at work" but it never happens. I'm also having a lot of trouble getting some of my BM involved. One girl hasn't come to any of the get togethers and now she told me last night that she won't be coming to my bachelorette party. I feel a little disappointed in her.
Just a little venting :)

I don't know why I was so nervous. They didn't even pull it out of the bag and I already had butterflies in my tummy. I absolutely love it! I couldn't take any pics though. I was seriously in and out of my dress in a matter of 15 minutes. Those alteration ladies are so quick! My next fitting is July 15th so hopefully someone will be with me so I can have them take pics.

I have my dress fitting tonight and I'm feeling a little nervous about it. I hope it still fits me and that I'm still in love with it as much as I was the day I bought it. Wish me luck!

Our shower in Michigan was so nice. We had gorgeous weather too! My future MIL did such a nice job planning, and look at our sign; so cute and thoughtful!

I wasn't sure about posting my dress, so I had my fiance promise me he wouldn't check the website (let's cross our fingers here ;) I bought my dress of the rack at an amazing price $400!! Can you believe it? I bought it last year and it still fits, yessss. My fitting is next week. I'll post more pics then.

Probably the best church we've been to. Just look how amazing it looks! And the inside is just as wonderful.

I bought all the wood table numbers (from JoAnn's) now I just have to paint them, green of course, and spray glitter over them. They'll go in the flower centerpieces. Cute, eh?

This was the first thing we picked out, and probably the easiest to find. We got such a great deal, and practically everything is included!

Don't even ask how long these took or how many people it took to make. Ok, it took about nine people and three weeks to make!! Can you imagine, all those people in my tiny condo. Oh my goodness, I still have anxiety just thinking about it.

I'm trying to think of a cute saying to put on the ribbon for the chocolate spoons. Guests can stir them in their coffee or hot chocolate or eat right off the spoon. Anyone have any suggestions??

I bought these such a long time ago, now I'm wearing them around the house (cooking & cleaning, haha) to try and break them in so they're not killing me the day of!

I'm having such a hard time trying to decide on a hairstyle. I originally wanted two hairstyles, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. Seeing as I can't drag around my hairstylist all day (I would if I could, trust me!!) I'm left with a nail biting decision; Down or Up? AHH.

Our fist wedding shower was May 31st, and everyone bought off the registry. Thank goodness. Our next shower (his side) is this weekend (June 22nd) in Michigan. I try not to peak at the website, but I can't help myself sometimes :)

Since I am a graphic designer, I decided to make my invitations, rsvp's, reception cards, programs & place cards (I know I'm missing something!!!). I found a template online for the fan programs and put my own artwork in it. The green swirlys I stamped on myself. I also used matching green ribbon to attach them together. They turned out amazing!

My bridesmaids dresses are by B2. The dress is celedon green and the sash is called lemon twist. On my sisters dress tag the style of the dress says B9081.
