So my fiance tells me that know he was wanting to have a destination wedding, somewere in Hawii. Wow that's totally cool except I would have to replain everything! Caters, Wedding dress, Color theme, I feel somewhat frustrated. I would love to get married on the beach, but I would ahve to change everything. He's says it totally up to me, and either way he's down.But should I stick with theorginal or re-plan. I mean we were talking about going there for our honey moon either way.

I've decided to Keep the Cake simple, Like the one in this picture, Cascading stargazer lillies and maybe black Ribbion. I am only going to get enough to feed 100 people and then have a couple of sheets of cakes (in the same flavor by same baker) to feed the other 100. This way we save a little $$$.

So I am buying a blank book from Shoppingnetsiut.com for an alternative guest book . it has 316 pages for $16! I am going to set up the digital Camera next to it and have everyone take a photo of themself (or the people in their party) then they can write whaterver they want on there pages. Later I am going to develope the pics and place their photos on their page. I didn't want to have the traditional guest book because I thought I would never look at it.

Up date I found an old poloraid that I didn't even know we had. So we might use that so we can place them in right away.

We going to have our daughter be our flower girl. It's going to be so cute dressing her up and watching her walk down the aisle. I really like the first dress, cause she'll look like a princess. I found the perfect invitations,(the one pictured) but the problem is that they're too expensive. $2.80 a piece. So that's $560.00 for 200 invitaions. I decided to do a little research to see how much money I could save.
1st I made a sample of the inviation, to figure out how much cardstock and stationary I would need approximently for each one.

Then I went online and shop around to buy all the paper products (3 different color card stock, stationary, and 2 different size envelops)

The cost $212.68!!!!!!! (this included shiping and handling & Sale tax)Saving me $347.32! Wow! If you do the math that 42cents a piece, that like an 85% saving per invitation.

I couldn't believe it. Plus the amount I paid for can make 500 invitations (w/o missing up)! Not that I need this many iviations;This leaves me with extra supplies...

I am so excited! I am going to make the programs, name cards, table numbers & what ever else with the extra cardstock.So in reality I really save more than $347.00 because I have the extra supplies to make these other things.

Our clors are going to be black & white with hot pink accents. I wanted our big day to be sophisticated but fun and flirty! I was a little scared to go with black and white because I didn't want the blh factor, but Im going to follow my instinct and go with it!

I just love the first pic of the candy buffet it's perfect! Candy buffet will have mostly black and white candy, with pink accented candys. The table will have a white linen on it with 2 black table runner. I'm going to place the bridal flowers on the table in vases. (this will save money and make it look nice) I'm going to offer small black organza bags, so guest can put selected candy in the bag. I getting them on ebay! I am also going to have a chocolate fondue fountian on that table; serving pure belgin chocolate with strawberries and belgine marshmellows (they're square white & pink).

I wanted my bouquet to make the statement "Bold, Beautiful, and Dramatic!" Stargazer lillies make that statement with their dazzling apperance and seductive sent. Accomping them are hot pink Roses.

The mother and Grandmother will also have a small bouquet of Hot pink and white rose with Stargazer lillies.

The guys butonnierres are going to be pink mini calla lilie with greenary. The one in the pic is so perfect! although it's pink it's quite manly.

I am buying the flowers wholesale... $560!! Including flowers for all 6 Bridemaids bouquets, 9 boutonnierres, 4 small bouquets for the mothers/ grandmother, my bouquet, flowes for the cake, and decorations for each table. I can't help myself, I am a cheap person, but who doesn't like to save a litte. My sister in law who is one of my brides maids is a florist so she can help make these. But what a cool project for me and the girls to engage in before the ceremony!

I want our cake to be SHAPED Similar to the fist picture:
Tiers in Contrasting shapes dependign on the location of the reception. For a ballroom bash, a tall and traditional square bottom tier and several rounds to top it off. For a casual loft wedding a combo of hexagon, round, and square-shaped tiers.

For the design I want it to look like the second picture in the bottom left hand coner. I will be placing fresh cut stargazer lillies strategically on the cake. And for a final touch our monogram on the middle tier.

I am going to seal all the invitation w/our monogram made by Letter Seals.com It's not too expesive to do either.

To create a romanic space and lighten the mood I have decided to use Cherry Blossoms that are submerged in water. (Cherry blossom only have a 2 week period- which fluctuates- inwhich they bloom) They stand for viture and new begings.

I have also considered submerging a mixture pink orchids, white calla lilies, and white roses; which matches the bridmaids bouquet.

I saw these Reserved Sign and thought OMG I could make these too.
