Something Different!
Found this really grat idea for table center piece on the knot blog! Okay I am like really excited, been having a very productful week!
Okay so what I am doing is taking Black & white photos of San Francisco land marks and putting them on glass vases heres what you do...
Supplies :
8.5"x11" Vellum Paper www.paperandmore.com $17
3 different size vases. I am using cylinders 6" 7 7/8", 10" www.save-on-crafts.com $6.5 ea table
tealight holders (clear glass) www.save-on-crafts.com $0.99 ea
Tealight candles www.candlesjustonline.com 30 for $2
1/4 in satin ribbon (hide top & side seam)
1 1/2 to hide (bottom seam) www.papermart.com
Black square charger plates www.galasource.com
Roll on adhesive dispenser (glue vellum paper down)
Glue-gun (glue ribbon down)
Marbles (white)
3 different pictures for each table (one landmark) (instead of table number you can even name you table after the land marks!)
table runner (hot pink)
4 Tealight holdersfor each table (www.save-on-crafts.com)
1. Print B&W photos on vellum paper & glue to glass vase
2. glue satin ribbon on top and side using 1/4" and 1 1/2" to bottom
3. Place tea light candles in vase
4. Set on black charger plate with (white) marbles and place plate over runner
5. Scatter accent color (Hot Pink) flowers (stargazer lilies) at the base of the cylinder
6. Place 4 extra tealight candles around Main center piece

OMG I am so glad I stumbled across this, because I am doing my own flowers so I was a little worried about all the floral arrngments that would need to be done, but know I dont have to! Well there will be some but not 20 tables worths.

Ooooooh the photo thing is cute!!! That www.save-on-crafts.com site is great! I am going to be doing something with 3 glass vases of different sizes for my centerpieces as well, so that's probably a good idea for me. Thanks for the post! Have fun making your centerpieces and post a picture when you're done!
