Veil & Train

Hi there

I have a question for all brides who already have children. Wayne & I have a daughter already. We have been together for 10 years. I have already bought my dress & veil and now I found out some terrible news. Apparently if you have been married before ( which we have not) and/or have children your shouldn't to have a train on your dress, have a veil (especially one with a blusher) or carry orange blossoms. I am horrified. Purity and virginity. My dress has a train and I already purchased my veil because I love it so much. Do you think any of our guest are going to know that I shouldn't have used these? Should I just wear it because I love it or is it a big NO NO?

Thanks

oh DEF. not!

so what! this is YOUR day. You bought -YOU wear it. I had no idea about this, so who knows how many of them know. I've never heard of such   a think. kinda makes sense-lol but i still wouldn't go by it. There's so many things women r doing that arent 'traditional', so i say DO IT!

♥congrats.

Traditions are old news. Weddings now are whatever you want them to be. Your also not suposed to wear white is your not a virgin but how many brides do you see in red? We're all liars for the most part. Don't worry about it. You should wear whatever you want.

Do what you want!!!!!!  Chances are no one else will even know about the tradition and you should look the way you want on your big day!

I HAVE heard people make comments about a bride with children wearing her veil over her face... wearing a veil is totally cool though. And the train thing... I don't think anyone cares.... I am having my train removed from my dress though. I am divorced with a child. And I am wearing a birdcage veil and I don't care if it comes slightly over my eyes.

i think the traditions are somewhat silly. its your day. like some flower determines your wedding. no. just do what you want.
