Ah, rentals. The downside of having a nice, cheap wedding in my fiance’s parent’s backyard is that we have to provide everything. So that jacks up the price a bit. After months of deliberation (and I’m not convinced we’ve finalized anything yet), here is our list of rentals, and how much we’re paying for them, from the cheapest rental company near us. (Ben asked for quotes from at least 5 places. What he discovered is that some items are more expensive than others, while other items are less expensive. So instead of looking at price per unit, it’s good to know the total. Also, ask for hidden fees, such as delivery, set-up/take-down [and exactly what that means], cleaning, and damaged unit replacement. Each place is different.)

This particular place does not charge for delivery, and we are not using them for set-up/take-down. Tax will be charged later on. We are actually providing some of the things ourselves, such as linens for the bread baskets, small spoons for the appetizers, large spoons/ladles, and the punch bowl. We also saved ourselves $150 by borrowing a friend’s garden arbor (instead of renting a “wedding arch”).
