Hall Decorations

from gym to banquet hall

yeh, so i tried looking for SOOO many places, but for the big wedding I had in mind, I didn't really feel like dishing out 10k for just renting a hall with no food. SO i went the other way around. At the church, there's a gym and yeh, we're gonna use the gym. It can fit 600 people in there and I can put my own decorations and serve my own food. So i thought that was better route for us.

Our hall decorator lady gave us some design concepts so hopefully it'll turn into one of these beautiful images. I love draping but I realize that it's gonna cost SOOO mcuh $$$ so one way of still using the draping but not paying an arm and a leg for the fabric is to hang the fabric from a clear fishing line. you'll use less fabric and get the effect you want for a much more reasonable price. what woulda cost me $1500 is now only $700. you gotta save money where you can right?!?!?

I have a princess canopy hanging from fishing lines from the tall ceilings and two sets of large balloons hanging from each side of the stage that will be draped in union with the princess canopy. it'll be pretty =)
