Do you like these sashes???

That lime green is hella-bright!  Although if you cover the tablecloth up it doesn't so bad with just the sashes, still lighter green organza would probably be better.

I agree, the green organza sash might be better. I would ask for pictures of their black chair covers with white sashes to see if you like them. I think you are right to be concerned if green isn't one of you main colors. As you said you wanted it only for accents.

actually I wouldnt mind it that bright.. if the tablecloths were black and not that green. But it is hella bright. so the organsa would be good.

I just went to a wedding on the weekend that had the exact same black chair covers and green sashes but the table cloths were black and they had a purple runner down the table.  It actually looked really modern and chic....everyone was commenting on how nice it looked.  I wish I had taken a picture I could show you but I didn't.

Hey!  Yah i'm not digging that green.. I think the green I like is more like green apple green more than lime.  I have to use covers b/c the chairs at my venue are hideous.  Multicolored funky..hahahha  Has anyone seen chair covers without a sash??

I agree with ccranetobe..no chair covers and maybe have the sash turned to the side. Here are some ideas.

The pic for me has way too much lime green....it reminds me of halloween. I think white would be more elegant.

Holy Neon Green!!!  This reminded me of Slimer from Ghost Busters ;P  However, the lighting could be making this seem brighter than what it actually is...they obviously had to use a flash to take this photo so the green might be appearing brighter because of the light reflecting back from the sash.  I'm not sure I would like a white sash if you are still planning on doing the green overlay, but that's just my two cents!!

I think the green with the black looks very elegant just the green needs to be a softer green!

I should clarify... The pics with the chiavari chairs aren't the chairs at my venue.. that pic was of a table mock up at the caterer's banquet center.  We were really looking just at the table there... She was actually supposed to have the blk chair cover under it and forgot to request it from her rental place.  The chairs at my venue are rounded top banquet chairs, padded in multiple colors...blues and reds.. so they have to start with a cover :(

My table cloth is all black, with a white square charger, and a see-thru green plate on top, with a black napkin on top of that.  At first we wanted white chair covers with a blk sash.. and the caterer said the black table cloth with the black chair cover looks much more elegant.  She then said the green sash would look sharp! so we were like okay cool! hahahah noooooooo!
No green overlay on the table, just blk with blk chair covers.  

The chair vendor sent me her white sash pic.. and I don't like it either (i added a pic... check it out)...looks so 80's tulle to me :(  I need to see if she has satin and if there is a price difference. I'm going to ask if she has a different green too :)  

I really like those side sashes! super cute!!  and Slimer and ninja turtles popped into my head too! and right as I'm showing the FH this a min ago.. I was like.. IT LOOKS LIKE HALLOWEEN!!! ahhhhhhh

I think it might be best to try and stay true to your original vision. Maybe black chair covers with white sashes or vice versa. Those really are LIME green, like fluorescent green. I personally like pic number 4. Or just adding some pops of green on the table, like green napkins.

that green is almost ghost buster green, I'd just do black chairs, or have a more limier green color, I love you mock up table you did at home, the lime green plates give it a funky elegant feel which I love! go with your gut, if your not in love with it than you know it's not right :)

I personally wouldn't make a decision until  I saw it set up the way it was going to be set for the wedding. I think that if you take the green table cloth off.. have just the black table cloth and the black chairs then that bright green sash might  be just the right touch.. I think the picture you have is so overwhelming becasue there is just way too much grren going on..

You know me and chair covers lol. The simpler the better. I prefer either just the black cover or a black cover with black sash. Your other elements will add the colour you want. LOL @ Slimer cuz that's what I thought.. Sorry but true lolol

I'm glad that most are saying no..hahah b/c I hate them! lol  Just making sure i'm not going crazy.  I emailed her to see if she can show me more pictures or maybe I can go visit... b/c i'm not having it.  lol  Her price is amazing. 2 dollars a chair and 30 dollars for delivery, set up and take down so I want to use her for sure.  Tasha, I'm seriously thinking blk on blk and the fh was like.. what????  

Why not? Is that weird.. Can I just say I'm a tulle hater..and it looks like tulle to me :(  I think in some weddings, it's gorgeous, but not for the modern wedding I want to have... boo to that slimer green!!!

I, uh, yeah, me personally, I don't like the green...but I do like the lighter organza sash, that doesn't have the black chair cover behind it (for sure they are the same?  They look so totally different)
Do you have any green in your centerpieces?  If you do, I think the green in them and the green plates are plenty of color for your tables.  What are your favors?  Do they have color in them?  Will they be at the guests seat or altogether somewhere else?
We are having black and white too, with pops of pink, our tables are black & chair covers too, with a white band around them.  We have the spandex covers, so the white band is minimal compared to the sash, as there is no hanging material.  The only pink on our tables is in our centerpieces and the tags for the candy boxes that will be at each guests place setting.
I agree, you have to cover those awful chairs, our venue has the rounded back chair with multitudes of browns on the material...YUCK!

You know.. i'm not positive if it's the same sash.  I emailed her as said we're more a green apple rather than neon.. and she attached what her green apple is, but I think it's a mistake b/c the picture says lime and it's this same color as the slimer one.

Yah I really didn't want green sashes at all.. but our caterer is aaaamazing at decor and suggested it.. but now i'm like hmmmm lol  Half of my centerpieces have alot of green while the others have enough ... half are blk photo boxes with green flowers on top, and the other half are manzanita trees with a few green flowers on them.  My favors are white boxes with blk swirls with a green strip of paper.. (kinda like ribbon) going around them.. not a ton of green on them..but I don't really want a ton.  She emailed me back asking us to come down to her showroom.. I think it's the best bet.

I have the same colors as you and this is my dilemma! Im not sure which direction to go with linens! i was thinking more of a white table cloth and green runners but I am not sure! I beleive we will have square tables (2 6' tables pushed together) at our venue! The pictures she gave you are definitely bright!! Please post pics when you decide! I cant wait to see!
