The future hubby looove transformers.. he actually likes the decepticons better.. but I couldn't get the good guys too!!! So I got the pair! Love them!!! There's more coming for him :) Boudoir being on of the gifts.. and some stuff for the garage :) And for my dad... I got the cutest I "heart" my Dad cufflinks! He'll love them! "Project get dad to cry" has been put into play! :) Girls, check out ebay... there are tons of sellers that sell these cufflinks for under and about 10 bucks with a giftbox! I bought my Dad's for like 7 bucks with a gift box.. and it ended up being pink :( So I bought another one on ebay for 3 bucks... black velvet display box :) It's great!!! So look to see what the gift box looks like. I've bought alot of items from Hong Kong lately... took about 2 full weeks to get to me in California :) |

I'VE BEEN MIA
BGNN'S BRIDAL SHOWER :)
Okay.. where have I been??? It's just been a crazy few weeks. We got our invites out.. and suprisingly have over half our RSVP's back :) woohoo!!! And then my bridal shower was around the corner... so I decided to make a bridal shower memory scrap book all pre made and waiting for pics.. I love it.. i'll get pics of that later.. but for now, here's my shower!
My sister planned it all and my bridesmaids and mother helped put it all together :) It was AMAZING! the only thing I knew was the colors.. other than that it was a complete suprise.. you can see me crying as I walk in and hug my little sister. She did such a perfect job! We played lots of fun games.. the best one where she taped my FH asking me questions.. then she'd pause the video, and I'd answer.. each one came with a little story.. I got all but 1 right.. which I still think I was right and he wasn't! hahahahah anywho.. At the end he said he loved me and couldn't wait to get married and girls started crying.. it was perfect! I actually got really amazing gifts too!!! There was 1 thing I ended up exchanging.. other than that.. they were all beautiful and thoughful and or from my registry.. not that this is something expected.. but to be honest.. I expected alot of STUFF.. you know what I mean? Alot of stuff I wouldn't want or need.. but that's fine... no big deal.. I was pleasantly suprised with so many beautiful wonderful things. Things that I love! It really showed how much my family and friends really know me as a person.. meant alot :) There are so many more... my friend had an issue with her camera... i'll try to get the cute details tomorrow :) I hope you all are well.. i'll try to post more often.. miss you all :) |

BGNN'S BRIDESMAID ZIP UP HOODIES!
So this is a fun story :) I searched and searched for the famous short sleeve zip up hoodies for my girls. I really wanted silk robes, but my sis and MOH talked me out of it. She was worried people wouldn't be comfortable running around.. and it makes sense.. not to mention the fact that I know sometimes I get hot in them.. I'm def getting one for me for right before I get in my dress :) Just for pics.
Anywho... searched with not much luck. Until one day I found this one at Kohl's online.. and the weird thing is I found them using the find.com... not on kohl's. I searched every clothing line I knew of.. that carries plus mind you.. and no luck.. even on kohl's.. but it came up on the find! wth.. so they were normally 38, on sale for 16.. and I had a 25 dollar coupon.. AND if you opened a credit card you got 30 percent off!!! Awesome! So total for 6 girls... my MOH is not plus sized.. would be about 48 bucks total after shipping and my gift card! not bad right??? So now, pink or black... These are super frilly girly hoodies.. so I went with pink to see all the details. They come in.. and not so much. Too many details.. made them kinda funky... SO I decide to return and get the black... I was so worried they'd be out of them since it was 2 weeks later and they were already on sale! nope!! they had them, and they were 7.60 now!!! woo woo!!!! But I can't use that one time 30 off anymore.. BUT I found 20% off discount code online! I really think something was wrong with the search engine on the site.. b/c I searched for every possible name for these guys on the site with no luck... I bet that's why they still have them in stock at such a low price! anywho... I got all 6, in black.. after my 20% off and my returned gift card.. I paid lik e19 bucks out of pocket! Oh and I couldn't exchange since it was online only.. but when I returned.. they pointed me to a kiosk in the store.. If you order online there at Kohl's, it ships to your home FREE... score!!!!! Okay, so sometime last year FH and I got these Iron on rhinestone decals in downtown LA and we ironed them on last night.. came out great!!! Sorry the pics suck so bad.. but I'm super excited for pics with these!! woohoo!!! should be great!!!! GIFT'S FOR GROOMS PARENTS

Hey Everyone!
Last week I finished getting gifts for the FH parents. I'm order handkerchiefs for my parents and his. I wrote one to my dad and his mom.. and FH wrote one to his dad and my mom :) They're cute.. I'll show those as soon as they come in... but we were trying to come up with a little something extra for his parents. I ended up finding different Mother of the Groom Compacts that they only sell in the UK! what the heck??? USA is too good for MOG compacts?? lol Not just one.. but like 5 different styles...weird So anywho there were about 25-35 US dollars.. but I went on Ebay.. found one for about 15 with shipping!!! what??? So then I saw that they combine shipping so I looked at the other items they had.. and they had some silver FOG cufflinks with a tie pin in a cute box.. perfect! All together about 26 bucks! score!!!!!!!!! I called the FH, he liked it... so it was done! hahaha Whatcha think??? |

DIY Wedding
BGNN'S CAKE LETTERS!!!
Hey hey hey! So last night... first night of wedding invites being done! woo woo!!! I was like...omg I have so many little projects that sound like fun... what to do?!!? So I decided to get these guys out of the way! I bought these letters months ago.. Love.. ties into my love birds theme. I painted them white and then blinged out the trim of them. They'll be on the cake table.. not sure how yet. I'm actually thinking about connecting them in a cool way.. like high, low, high low placement but connected to a wood platform so they are standing up.. hmmmmm Gotta get the FH's creative juices flowing in the garage :) I'll keep you all posted :)

Thank you to the heaven's above! b/c I really don't think I could have worked on these one more day! lol
But I love them more than I imagined. They're exactly what I wanted. And no joke, they weigh 4 ounces each! That's insane! I always knew I wanted a pocketfold.. I just think there were alot of little things that ended up causing so much grief that we could of avoided. 1st... we MADE the pocketfolds. If you're on a budget... great savings, but it was a headached. The paper was 20 dollars as opposed to 95 for the pocket folds. We matted everything. I could have just printed the border to avoid all the extra work. We decided to do the style where the pattern goes all the way to the edge, unfortunately most printers, including at kinkos... have rollers that pull the paper through the machine, so they can't print to the edge... so you have to print on slightly larger paper, print, and crop. Who'd of thought! We had a bad experience with getting our paper professionaly cut. They had dull blades and frayed about 50 dollars of paper.. so we decided to cut every single piece by hand. 90 invites x 14 pieces of paper per invite. yah... took us over a month after work. I'm exhausted. but again.. I love them :) We MADE the rsvp envelopes. We had a standard 5x7 pocketfold, but the smallest envelope you can buy is an A2 which is just over 5" long... I didn't want it vertically in there.. so we made our own. Cut them out, scored them, glued and added double sided tape with a little label to explain what it was. It was see through red, and after everything we did to these babies.. I was making it as easy as possible for my guests to respond ASAP! lol We also lined all our inner and outer envelopes with patterned paper. We used glue.. DONT!!! use double sided tape. The glue expands a bit when it drys and caused the envelope to ripple. So we ironed every single envelope!!! crazy! but it helped a ton!!! We handwrote the outter and inner envelopes. I had thought long and hard and decided I would find a pretty font and print them.. then I went to a family function and my Aunt said, "you are handwritting the addresses right?" "yes, yes I am" lol I've followed every other ettiquette rule.. why break this one! lol After cutting all the cards and green matting to the perfect size.. attaching them all with double sided tape... We realized the thickness of the cards made them wayyy too thick for the pocketfold. so we had to trim the green on the right and left from each card... oh yay! lol So anywho.. a pocketfold, with the main invite, matted, and ribbon wrapped around where the pattern and white meet. The white is iridescent.. I know that doesn't show well in my pics. The green is irridescent too :) The cards: Map, Reception, Accommodations, and RSVP. Once it's all folded up, we added a belly band of our pattern with a seal. I made the seals and bands on irridescent paper as well and added 3 rhinestones to each seal. Then that went into the black inner envelope. I hand wrote the guests names and sealed them with a wax seal. I actually made the seals on a cookie sheet and then attached them to the envelope with glue. That way I could do them early, and so that any ugly ones got tossed. :) Then that went in the outer white mailing envelope that was already hand addressed but I printed the backs late last night.. no way in heck was I hand writing our return addy label.. I couldn't do it! So I made a cute little emblem with a tree and birds with our return addy and printed our monogram on the back of the envelope. So anywho.. here they are!! And I'm back! I have 11 emails of "brides I'm watching" to catch up on! Can't wait to see what you have all been up to!!!! xoxoxoxoxo |
