Wow! its been a long time that ive been away from this site. i think about a year or so. I know i never put up the professional wedding pictures, i think it was because i didnt know how to, so now im gonna try and figure it out :)

Our Wedding Day
December 5th 2009
I will post picture's as well as share my wedding day story.
Wedding Day Morning: I woke up, not feeling scared, nervous, or anything like that, the night before i put my headphones on put music on and fell asleep so i had no problem falling asleep! but i woke up, took a shower, blew dry my hair, and went and picked my cousin ( who was in my wedding ) and brought her over to the house with me where we were getting our hair done and getting dressed. The girl who did my hair did an okay job, not what i pictured for my wedding day, but i didnt mind because i am way to laid back of a person. So, while i was getting my hair and make up done i needed someone to go get the flower's for us, sure enough my maid of honor couldnt do it for me,so my mom and bridesmaid had to get them. After i got my hair done i went and dropped my car off at the reception place and drove back with my maid of honor. I did get a chance to see and hear the drama about the reception about what happened that morning....lets just say the V.F.W. doesnt like taking any of there plactes down...but we did anyway ( they werent to happy with us ). Since i was laid back, i just let my dads girlfriend ( who decorated the entire hall with my dad ) take care of all that drama. So i finally get back to the house and finally get dressed..still wasnt nervous just really excited! I still had to call 1 of my bridesmaids cause she wasnt at the house, so i finally called her and she got to the house with maybe 5 mins to spair when the limo showed up! After that got to the church and everything went perfect.... except.... your "bestfriend" who u took out of the wedding months ago because she was on pills and high, and than got cleaned and begged to be in the wedding....came high and on pills...lets just say, everyone noticed, and we no longer talk. After noticing that after the ceremony etc, went to the reception,...our dj did not announce us the way we wanted to be announced like having us walk in first AND announcing our names wrong, than announcing bridal party's name and escort's and announcing there names wrong.... than the dj came up to me, apologized and she had to do it that way because the VFW told her to....hm no.. lets just say i was pissed. after all that happend, i didnt care anymore i just went and had fun the rest of the night.. and even had cake on my face everywhere.. end of story,. here are the pictures! * they are not the professional ones, i will put those up when i receive them!! * |

Wedding Flowers
Purple & White Roses!
A Flower Place i am using is a little shop in the Winndixie Grocery Store. I saw pictures of weddings they did and the Flowers came out Beautifully! Not to mention they are WAY cheap!!
My bouquet will be White Roses and my Maid of Honor's Will have White & Purple roses, and than the rest of my bridesmaid's will have just purple roses! =] |

Wedding Dress
DRAMA!
SO. in my last wedding dress blog, i wrote about how i bought a new dress etc.
After i bought the dress from her, she sold her store but took a couple dresses to her house. Mine was one of them. A couple months after, i decided to call her and ask her when we should start on the alteration's and fix whatever needed to be done. It took about 2-3 weeks before she answered my phone calls. After she finally answered, i went to her house, tried on my dress again, so that she could start working on alterations. She told me to reach her in about a couple weeks so we could see what she's accomplished or if she finished, whatever. Well it's starting again, there is 39 days left to my wedding and i have been calling and calling her for 2 weeks now! i am so upset, at this point i dont know what to do!!!!!!!! Do you think i should show up to her house and pick up my dress and have someone else do my alterations? or Keep trying to call her?? UPDATE**************** So, she called me back 2 day's ago FINALLY, said she's been away visiting with her sick mother, went to her house yesterday so she could do more work on the dress, and told me she would be done and to pick it up friday!!! =] |

Wedding Cake
Yum, Cake!
With this wedding and everything going on, i am lucky enough to have my cousin, make my wedding cake!! She is sooo talented & i am so excited to see how the finished product comes out. She did make a mini cake for us to try, it was butter cream & fondant icing! It was AMAZING! i absolutely loved it.
Our wedding cake is gonna be butter cream with purple fondant and white snowflakes on it! Is anyone making your wedding cake? |

Wedding Decoration
it's getting closer!!!
Well 2 things. More & more response card's are comming back & i am getting soooo excited & Anxious.
On another note, i am ordering Personalized Wedding Flutes, Personalized Wedding Cake Cutter & Server knife, a purple ring bearer pillow, & an aisle runner all under $80.00. I am soooo excited & can not wait untill i become mrs. gould. Its sooo exciting to plan (i am planning mostly everything myself) & yet it is sooo stressful at the same time! Ah, i cant wait! |

Wedding Invitation
what a lift off my shoulders!
I am FINALLY done with the invitation's & some are already in the mail box ready to be mailed out! It feel's like it had been taken forever. I was debating on weither or not i should just print them off the computer myself, or even order some off line because i didnt wanna go through the dress. Either way i DID go through the stress just wanting everything to be perfect, & actually i dont have enough invitations!! But it's okay cause we're actually off by 4 people. My FH & i invited a lot of people at the last minute.
Now Im off to buy some more wedding stuff. =) |

Bridesmaids
thought maybe you guys would wanna see what i picked out for my girls!
So, it's getting pretty close to the wedding! UNDER 100 DAYS! this is crazy. It has deff been an experience. I have 6 girl's. 1 maid of honor & 5 bride'smaid's and 1 flower girl.
My color that i picked out is lapis (dark purple) as what my bride'smaid's are going to wear & than for my maid of honor, she will be in wisteria, which is a lighter purple. Also, one of my girl's just found out she is pregnant, so she will be 5 month's at the time of my wedding, so, she will actually be wearing a different style dress (that way her belly can grow) but she will be wearing the same color as the bride'smaid. So here are some pic's of the girl's dresses, & my flower girl in her dress, but her dress will be in solid white. |

Wedding Dress
wedding dresses's are a pain! lol
So, i bought a wedding dress like back in march, went dress shopping with my mom and everything. bought this gorgeous dress, didnt notice the size & i thought i had it zipped up. after weeks of paying off this dress i take it home, only to realize it doesnt fit well, it is SOOO tight on me! & of course no refunds.
SO, back in May i decided to get another dress, its perfect, its exactly how i pictured it. Since i finally bought my shoes (im wearing dark purple heels to go with my dress to match my bridesmaid dresses) sometime this week i am going down to the bridal shop so that i can get my dress altered and fitted and what not. anyways here is the picture of my new dress =] |

has anyone ordered their invitation's online?
Okay so i bought invitation's at the store & was planning on buying some ink and than printing them out off of my uncle's computer.
OR my FMIL suggested i order them already done online. the website is www.vistaprint.com i would put in all my information & than they would send it to me personalized & everything. I feel like doing the online thing because its easier, & the FMIL said she would pay for half if we ordered them online. anyway im asking if anyone ordered their invitation online, and how did it come out? |
