Monograms, anyone?
So I guess I just wanted to share a couple of my first attempts at monograms. For some reason, though, the pics I uploaded look fuzzy until you click to enlarge them. Anywho, what do you guys think? Any suggestions?
Has anyone found a website with premade monograms? Or even someone who makes them? Feedback appreciated! oh, and btw, he is Cameron Estep and my name is Lyndsay. |

Ask a Question
Where did you start?
Okay. We're engaged. Everyone knows. We picked a day and have a semi-solid budget. We've figured out the ceremony site, the photographer, the cake, the caterer (but not the food.) We're not absolutely positive on the colors. (We're thinking teal and silver-ish?)
Now what? I know I still have 16 months left to go, but what was everyone's first priority after the big stuff? I'd like to get started as soon as possible, seeing as how Cameron and I have to pay for pretty much everything else. What can we get started on that I'm not going to change my mind on later =P I still have to go dress shopping and all that jazz, but how soon is too soon? Trust me, I would love love love to go dress shopping right this minute and find my dream dress, but I think the fiance would flip a little inside. Give me some feedback, I would love to know your opinions! |

The Proposal
A little new to this...
So he proposed on Thanksgiving, in front of his family and my father. Very classy. He even got permission first =). When he asked me, the first thing out of my mouth was, "Are you kidding?" and then, as he looked pleadingly up at me, he said, "uh, no." And suave me followed up with, "We can't afford this!" And he still sat there waiting for an answer. And then... I said, "Yes!" Aaaand now we're into the whole planning thing.
We've got a lot of big gifts coming our way. His grandfather is the deacon of his church so we don't have to pay for that. The Wedding cake is going to be a gift from a family friend of his. My mother is a photographer and wants to take all the pictures. A friend of mine is going through culinary arts school and is going to cater the wedding for free (I just have to buy the food.) Plus not to mention, his sister just recently got married, along with my best friend, so we have whatever leftover wedding stuffs they are willing to part with. So all in all I guess I can quit freaking out. After all, the wedding's over a year away and all of our big stuff is paid for. Really, we just need decorations and a D.J. and a reception site,...and a wedding dress, tuxes, marriage license, centerpieces, wedding favors, invitations, save the dates, tablecloths...okay, so there's still QUITE a bit left to do. Now I'm freaking out again. =O |
