barelyblushingbride's Green wedding

Feel my wrath.
Feel my wrath.
Just kill me
My venue failure
So I finally got a hold of the curator of the Hertiage house that I was supposed to be having both the ceremony and the reception at, and I was told that there was a whole list of NOT POSSIBLE's that I hadn't been aware of.

- no alcohol
- no tents
- no candles or open flames

and they don't have a kitchen, nor do they cater like their website says they did. Also.... as if it wasn't bad enough, they can only hold 40 people in their inside "in case it rains" room. So. Yeah. I have no clue what to do.

Ultimately, I can book the gardens for the ceremony for $300, but I have to rent my own chairs for up to 120 people.

Is $300 worth it, since I have no clue if that's paying too much or not. Thanks in advance, you lovely brides to be.

I say book the gardens. The place I rented is $350 and doesn't include ANYTHING extra. We'll have to find chairs, linens, tables, etc. by ourselves. I still think it will be cheaper in the long run, so I say GO FOR IT! RENT THAT GARDEN!
