i found a cake im in love with :)
so this is pretty much how i want and have always imagined my cake. its beautiful and bright just like our personalitys :) except im thinking maybe in square shap im not to sure yet. weve been to one cake tasting already but still looking around. let me know what you think ladies :)

Pink Wedding Dress finally...

finally...
so i thought it was going to hours and hours of trying on a million different dress to finally find the one...but thankfully it didnt. i went to a small wedding shop here in delaware with my mom, grandma and my cousin who is also my maid of honor, and tried on maybe 7 different dress before my mom brought this one to me that she had found on the discontinued rack in the back of the store. and i fell in love right away, is a beautiful lace strapless gown with a small jewl embelishment under the bust line. its perfect for me, and almost a perfect fit without a whole lot of alterations, i love it, it looks classic and timeless. and price just makes everything better :)

The Proposal
different but perfect.
well ladies, on Jan 8th my wonderful fiance asked me to marry him. and yes it may have not been like the normal way. but it just ment so much more to me. i at the time was living in ohio with my grandparents and he was back home in delaware, we were on the phone and finally he broke down he said that he couldnt do the distance anymore and that he wanted me to come home to be with him. and that he loved me more than anything in the world. and finally he asked me to marry him...and of course i said yes, and needless to say i moved home a week later to be with him. hes everything to me and im not exactly sure what id do without him in my life. hes made me a better person and is everything ive always dreamed of since i was a little girl. funny thing was come to find out, my grandpa proposed to my grandma over the phone also and their still going strong to this day...just like i know me and mike will be when were their age.
