Ask a Question
Bridesmaid dresses
I am on a mission to find bridesmaids dresses (preferably seperates) with a corset tie back. I am thinking I would like to ave long dresses but am open to short dresses. I have not decided on the alternative color just yet, but the men are wearing brown tuxes.
If anyone has any information on where to find any corset dresses I would really appreciate any help:) Thanks.... tags:

Reception
A place to cut the cake and cut lose!
The Marina Inn in South Sioux City, Nebraska is where we will be holding our reception. This has been a favorite place to stop in and look around after brunch with the family. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family and place to have our reception. Can't wait to see it all decorated in our colors.

Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church
Where two will become one....
This is the church Ryan and his family attended all his life. I have never had a church to call my own. I went through RCIA last year and became Catholic in April of 2007. Since I moved to Sioux City this has been the parish we attend together. It is absolutely amazing and I can't wait for the day I get to walk down the aisle to marry my Ryan.

The Proposal
What a surprise this was.....
The day started out a little rough as Friday night was spent out on the town with good friends, good food, good drinks, a few new dance moves, and minor venting sessions. (Thanks to all of you who put up with this nonsense- including Clay who knew a ring had been purchased) Kari was in town for her 27th birthday so we had big plans for our "Urban Cowboy" night in the big O.
We got on the road and arrived to Old Chicago for lunch. Ryan and Clay were playing the Hunting Buck game and Kari and I chatted away. (Little did I know this was a planning session for what was to come) After completing lunch we headed to one of the destinations on our list- DAVE AND BUSTERS! (If you don't know what this is google it and I highly recomend you go there) As we arrive at Dave and Busters, we meet up with Nicky and Tommy. We then proceed to play all the games. We have been saving our tickets, which you exchange for prizes, each time we go. This time Ryan was wanting to get everyone in the prize room to see what prizes we could win. I noticed a cowboy outfit that would fit my dog- made a comment about how we could have brought him for our Urban Cowboy party and turned back around to hang the outfit back up. I was a bit disappointed we were going to trade the tickets in and kept reminding everyone we should keep saving for the GRAND MASTER PRIZE!! I turned back around and remember seeing Ryan on his knee and thought he was looking at prizes by the ground. Then he turned around with a box that had a ring in it and said "How about this prize?" (This would be the part where most woman would melt, start crying and wait for a question. ) Yep not this girl, I grabbed the ring right out of the box, put it on my finger and started screaming "YES, YES, YES- I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS- IT IS ABOUT TIME!!!" I was hoping Ryan would get the hint and I was making it totally dramatic and blown out of the water! I thought he would finally know how much I wanted this to happen. Then I looked at the ring, saw the sparkle, looked back at Ryan and said "Is this thing freakin real?" Until this point I thought the ring was a fake prize, but then realized this was it- the real deal. Ryan as red as this print and eyes sparkling says "Yes" OKAY so then I lost it and everything is a bit blurry after that. It seemed there was nobody around at all and we were then in our own little moment! I had no idea this was going to happen and I was so surprised!! It was PERFECT and the ring is BEAUTIFUL!! We have not had much time to discuss plans as we went on to finish out our night of Urban Cowboy. I will forever remember the moment of engagement to be followed by a mechanical bull ride!! There will be more details to come....WOHOO!!!!! tags: engaged
