Wharf Decorations
Arch & Two Large Urns
Just so happens that I have access to these items for free. A friend is willing to loan us two large urns & a metal arch. I think they would be all the decorations we need for the wharf.

Centerpieces & Favors
Roses & Personalized Items
Still deciding on the guest list so I don't know how many tables we will have but I think a dozen roses for each table will be plenty. Then I've been looking at personalized votive candle holders that will double as mood lighting and guests can take them home as wedding favors. Not sure if that is tacky? Still can't decide if I'm going with red or pink.

Vegetarian Menu
Still researching caterers in the area but we both love lasagna and lots of different salads. Since it will be a summer wedding I want lots of fresh fruit platters and plenty of punch.

Location
Naramata Wharf Park
This is a perfect central location for many of our family members who will be attending. The view of Okanagan Lake is stunning and I think it will lend itself to our relaxed and simple theme. We are researching the possibility of having a tent set up for the reception within walking distance of the wharf and there is large sandy beach near by. We want the ceremony to be very short and sweet, maybe 15 minutes max, so the idea would be just for everyone to stand around us in a circle on the wharf. Afterwards we can all mingle, eat, & relax around the tent area. We don't have any plans for a program, just spend time with friends and family.

I love this look for the bridesmaids. Perhaps white umbrellas would be cute & practical accessories instead of them carrying pink roses.

Linen Suit
A relaxed and casual look without a tie is the plan so far. Neither of us will be wearing shoes on the beach, so he can just role of the pant legs and take off the jacket for phots.

My very generous and talented aunt will be making the cake as her wedding present to us. She has done numberous wedding cakes and each has turned out to be a work of art. I want something simple with just a few roses.
