met our officiant
So we met with the officiant Friday.
He was real nice. Down to earth, easy to talk to and wasn't too pushy!! &&&&&ii did like the idea that he wasn't only an officiant, but thru his church he offers premarital counseling! He is going for his degree so as an intern he can't charge too much. =) anywho, i jumped on it when he mentioned the premarital classes as an option, however........ can you guess?? the future hubby said ah-uh!! He's real private, he doesn't like to say too much & usually keeps all emotions inside. I mean I rarely see the dude cry ok.... well, I feel that something such as this will only benefit our relationship. I know after 6 years there shouldn't be too many surprises about one another but I really believe this is something that is a necessity!! what should i do to convince this guy!? ughh-so stubborn...(the both of us) =/ |

color??
i've been hearing from people in my family that if someone wears black to a wedding they are making a statement that they do not agree with the marriage??
is this true....? i'm kinda sad cuz i really wanted my bridesmaids to wear ALL BLACK with fuschia pumps [[ like me...hehe =) ]] but i hear a lot of comments from certain people &it really puts a pour on my parade..... =( i try not to care what they think or say cuz ultimately it is MY choice, but i hate hearing negative things bout my planning/vision and i'm sad..... any suggestions?? BTW....thought this was a little humorous... i work in a hospital and BM here is an abbreviation for Bowel Movement... hahah a little silly, but i read a few blogs and saw "my BM's are the best bcuz.....etc.etc.." i was like did i just read that right? lol then i connected the two...BridesMaids.. ohhhh! thought i'd share this with you..lol made me chuckle a little =) |

i am so very new to this wedding, planning, searching, bargaining, and budgeting!! ughh it all seems like too much to possibly to do solo... anyhow, one things for sure my color scheme.... i love PINK!! so its only natural to have Fushia and Black as my color... my thing with black, is i have too much of it!! but i can't get away from it!! i absolutely think it is the perfect color to anything! and i can be girly when i feel like it, so thats where the pink comes in.....=) oh yeah and also wanna fit in purple with some silver, possibly for the reception =) |
