Bachelorette Partyyyy
For my bachelorette party my bridesmaids and I and 6 other girls are flying out to VEGAS for 3 nights!!! I am super excited! We are staying at the Palms hotel and got a two bedroom suite. I do not know too many details since the girls have been planning it all, but we leave the 17th of June and come back on the 20th. I have already bought 3 party dresses, and many bathing suits, too many actually. Haha but i am super pumped. Time to get this bod in shape! Monday i start my 30 day detox!! Wish me luck.

Bridesmaid Gifts!
So far for bridesmaid gifts i have gotten the girls each an ivory clutch to go with their pink dresses, and pink/ivory flower rings. Suuuper cute!

My Fiance is moving :(
Last friday we found out Zach got the job he was applying for, so now he has to move away for a year to edmonton 5 hours away from me :(
I am really excited for him because this is a great opportunity for him/us but i am EXTREMELY sad because he leaves in a month! I will be joining him in Edmonton but not till after the wedding. I don't know how i am goin to get through the next 4 months with him gone. Sad bride... :( |

Wedding Invitation
For some reason out of all the planning i had to do, invitations were the worst for me! I don't know why but i just did not want to get them done and over with. Finally i found a website that i liked (weddingpaperdivas.com) and found these super cute invitations and made my finals proofs TODAY!!.
Soo these are the invitations that we picked! I couldn't decide between a couple of them in the end this was Zachs favorite. So i am glad he actually gave his suggestions since i have been making all the decisions. And we just wanted something simple without a picture since we will include then in the thank yous. |

Wedding Dress
This is my dress!!! Sooo pretty!.. The craziest thing happened when i tried my dress on for the first time, our song started playing in the bridal shop! Thats when i knew that this would be my dress.

The Proposal
Hawaii!!!!
Sooo my future husband surprised me with a trip to hawaii for graduating from the x-ray program at SAIT. I soon found out that not only did he surprise me with a trip, but an engagement ring too! I was completely surprised and shocked because marriage was something we had never really talked about.
So off to hawaii we went. On the second night we were there we went out to dinner and then to the market. Zach kept trying to get me to go to the beach to watch the sunset but i just wanted to shop.. haha..(typical girl). Finally i agreed and we made our way over to the beach and sat down on the pier. Before i could even get comfortable he pulled out a piece of paper and starting reading off all the reasons why he was in love with me. It was soo cute, the piece of paper had scribbles all over it and words crossed off, and new ones put in, it looked like he had been workin on it for some time. I immediately started crying and so did he. In the back of my mind i just kept thinking is this really happening, it couldn't be because i didnt' think he would ever plan something so crazy like this. But sure enough he pulled out that little black box from his pocket and asked me to marry him!!!!!!! So of course we had to celebrate after!! and no better way to go on a pub crawl around waikiki beach. The night ended with zach in the fetal position in the shower puking his brains out but hey we had a perfectly good reason to celebrate :):) |

We will be having an outdoor ceremony on the ski hill with the reception in the lodge. I have 5 bridesmaids who will each be wearing a different shade of pink, and the 3 groomsmen will be in ivory dress shirts with dress pants. The accent color i am using along with the pink will be green.
