I have the answer
Trunk Shows
Has anyone been to a trunk show? Especially for Maggie Sottero? Can you get the dresses cheaper or is it just to see the whole line? Will you be able to try on the dresses?

There's a Maggie Sottero trunk show about 300 miles from where I live this weekend and I'm debating if it'll be worth the drive. There's another in Dallas the weekend I'm going to be there but maybe I should go to both?

**FROM MY SISTER**
No you should not expect to find discounted dresses at a trunk show. You might but don't count on it unles the salon has sent you an advertisement that gives you a discount. She told me if I had nothing to do, I should undertake the drive cause they are ususally fun but not to make any big deal of it, I will get to see the dresses again in Dallas. Mostly it's for when you see that one dress in the magazine and you can't find it in ay stores.

I got my dress at an Amy Michelson trunk show, I think I got like 10% or 20% off. They bring dresses that they don't carry in the store on a regular basis. I got to try it on, I know they would have let me try any on.

When I was going for my fittings, other girls would ask for it and they would say, "Oh we don't carry it in the store." Part of the diva in me is like, "hahaha (evil laugh)" but then I turn and say, "this thing was so expensive, I'll sell it to you!"
