What songs are on your "Must Play" list for the reception? I was thinking about this the other day and there are soooo many song that I want to hear that night. I thought that i would ask you ladies what songs are a absolute must. Also what songs are you putting on your "Do Not" play list?
I am looking forward to seeing what is on everyone's lists.

im not too sure whats going to be on our must play list. but I do know that the chicken dance and the macarana will NOT be played at my wedding lol! those songs drive me crazy haha

Ah, takes me back to my college days with my girls, who'll be back with me!  (They're all over the country, so we only get together at weddings and baby showers it seems.)  Yee Haw!  Can't wait!

And we're ending the night with:
Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond.  "So good, so good, SO GOOD."  Heck yeah - can't think of another way to end the night!

And then there's Billie Jean by MJ (best dance song EVER)...ooh, and SexyBack by JT...

Only song on the DO NOT PLAY LIST?
Angel by "Sarah McLaughlin" - associated with an old boyfriend.  Hmm, and I'll add "The Dance" by Garth Brooks to that too, for the same reason.  :)

Do not play = The Beatles. Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I really really don't like them. And "How to Save a Life" by The Fray, just because it was John's best friend's funeral song, and we'd rather be happy on our wedding day!  And I agree with not having the macarana, how many times can you flip your hands over. Seriously! That song just seems to go on foreverrrrr!

My one big no no is any dance / club music as its just NOT ME at all lol cant see my 75yr old nan bopping away to stuff like that!!!

On my list i have lots of motown- things to get people jamming to- Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder etc and then things like some of our faves like Bryan Adams, Michael Buble, some old swing style music and then soe up to date people like Justin Timberlake, Beyonce etc- Still havent come up with my list yet- Its gonna take me FOREVER!
