My FH and I am in the process of saving for a house and the last thing we want to do is start our lives together in debit because of a expensive wedding so i am not sure if i want to spend a lot of money on flowers. Our wedding is on Valentines day and flower prices tend to sky rocket in february. So my thought was that i would carry long white feathers instead. you can get 100 on ebay for about $50. What do you lovely ladies think?

Perfect!
I tried on the dress
I went on the weekend to try on dresses with my MoH. We went to Vals Bridal (in Courtice). My MoH got her dress there and the service was great when she went. They where very helpful. Unfortunatly that was not the case with me. It took the sales lady at least 10 minutes to ask me if i needed a change room...hmmm that would help. Then when i got the dress "on" (its a corset back so i needed help with it) I had to stand there literally hang out, my butt was half exposed, for 20 mins before someone would tie me up. The orginal sales lady that got me the room was to busy to help me because she was trying on brides maid dresses!!! it was unreal how bad the service was. However on the bright side they had my dress and it was perfect. Pictures will follow. I am totally going to order it...but not from Vals. FH was soooo angry when i told him about the bad experence i had there that he went in the next day to talk to them and tell them how they soured what was supposed to be a fantastic, memerable day for me.

Wedding Dress
The Perfect Red Dress!
Seeing as we are having a Valentines Day wedding i thought that a red dress would be perfect. I absolutely LOVE this dress. Now i just have to find somewhere that actually carries it so i can try it on before i order. If any GTA brides know anywhere that stocks this dress PLEASE let me know. Thanks!

The Proposal
My filler ring
The proposal itself was not all that romantic, but he has always had a way with words. My dream ring is a Tacori so the diamond and the mount have to be ordered seperatly. He wanted me to be involved with picking my diamond so he got me a "filler" ring until we have mine made. Hes so sweet.
