To say I was disappointed with by florist consultation would be an understatement. It is nothing against the florist, she is very lovely and tried very hard to find something to please me. The problem was every flower I wanted for our July wedding is unavailable that month.
I have always wanted peonies, and when we picked the date for the wedding I even called a florist to make sure we could get them I was told yes then, then no 6 months prior to the wedding... I can't change the date now. So started looking for a new flower that would suit. Next I fell in love with anemoes for their big black center that just pops, and goes perfect with our black, white and hot pink wedding. When I was told no for those, I went to my next new favorite, ranunculus, for their unique-ness and elegance. Again I was told sorry, but no!
Finally we added up with flowers with the 'fluffy' feel I wanted and flowers that came in Hot Pink. My bouquet is made of white hydangeas, white lisinathus and accents of hot pink carnations and roses. The BMs will carry bouquets of all hot pink gerberas, carnations and roses which will hopefully pop beautifully against their black dresses.
My dress is white, and I plan to wear a black sash. The boys are in black tux's with white shirt, black vest and tie. The groom in the same with a black and white damask tie. Their boutonniere's are hot pink roses.
Here is my dilemma... I'm not sure I want pink in my bouquet. I need your help. Do i stick with what I've ordered? Or change to either all white, or all white with black (likely feathers) bouquet. I am just worried about the continuity between me, the girls and the boys if I change.
Anyways, best of luck - I hope you still love your bouquets in the end!
