Bridesmaids

It wasn't easy, but we made a decision!

How can someone possibly choose from the hundreds of thousands of BM dresses out there?!?! The options are endless. Though some are instantly eliminated without second thought, some trick you and though they are exactly what you didn't want, when they are on they are beautiful and you start re-evaluating your criteria.

My criteria was: black, floor length, no chiffon. Though at times I thought we were going to end up with short chiffon dresses...luckily we found something that met all my requirements.

Coming to the final decision on the 'chosen one' was weeks and weeks of surfing, shopping, trying on, re-trying on, driving miles to different bridal stores. Finally I decided we would find and choice 'the dress' in a particular bridal store. So we narrowed it down to 5 then made up score cards to narrow our choices, though that didn't help because one girls favorite was anothers least, so finally I think the decision was made based on it meeting my criteria, a compromise for everyone, time crunch to get them ordered and just plain exhaustion from the constant, unsuccessful search.

I know the day of the wedding all the girls will look fabulous in the dresses. Hopefully everyone is happy, comfortable and feels like a million bucks! After all, it isn't just 'my' day, because 'my' day wouldn't be possible without the 4 fantastic ladies standing next to me.

Plus... you can always shorten it and wear it again right!!! Hahahaha
