We're Married!!! Some Wedding Pictures
My wedding day was amazing!!! So much more than I could have asked for.
It did go buy so fast but we had an AMAZING time!!! I'm so glad that it is over but I am so happy that everything went off without a hitch. Well except for my old co-workers cell phone going off 3 times during the priests homily. Ooops!!! Here are some pics for you to enjoy. Ellie |

Boudoir Pics... I did them!!!
So my wonderful photographer happens to be one of my best friends on this Earth!!! I think she is EXTREMELY talented!!!
She has an amazing eye for things, makes you feel totally at ease and her personality is amazing!!! She did our engagement pictures as well. So I got the courage to do this pictures as part of Mike's gift. We had a great time. We didn't get to finish but I know we got some great shots of me. I'm not one that is proud of her body or likes to show it off but Erica did an amazing job hiding what shouldn't be there. I only have a teaser for you guys. It is one of my favorites that I have seen so far. So... here you go... |

Wedding Programs
I cannot tell you guys how amazing my sister is!!! She is the greatest person that I know!!
She has helped me endlessly with the wedding. She has been there to calm me down when I'm stressed and to make me laugh when i have been sad throughout this process. She did it again!!! She sent me a mock up of the wedding programs. We wanted to keep everything as simple as possible and I think we did with the programs. The mock ups are on regular printer paper. The real ones will be on cardstock. Here they are... |

Ceremony
Unity Candle
So at first we were going to do the Unity Candle but then after talking to the priest, we decided that we weren't going to do it.
We are getting married in a traditional Catholic ceremony and a Unity Candle isn't necessarily part of the ceremony. After a few weeks after meeting with the priest, I changed my mind and decided to go with the Unity Candle. To me the UC is a symbol of us coming together as a couple to unite in marriage. That's special to me. So last night I did simple decoration on it. After the ceremony, we will use the same candle as our "In Loving Memory" candle. I just took some green satin ribbon. Not too thick. I took some push pins that had the pearl end and here you go... I may do the same to the single candles. Not sure if I will do the three strips, but I may put one or two or do the same. We'll see. |

Day of Bracelet
So I was looking at a few knottie bios the other day and found this awesome bracelet. It's super cute, at least to me.
I thought it was great! So this weekend I went to the ghetto and found a cute brooch to use if I decide to make this bracelet. What do you think? |

Day of Undies
Hi everyone!!!
I made my day of undies. I am soooooo happy with them. I wasn't happy at first because I bought an iron-on that I had custom made and when I peeled it off, it didn't completely transfer. I was thinking of just scrapping the whole thing and then I emailed the lady that made my iron-ons but she didn't respond. So I put my crafty lady thinking hat on and a light bulb went off. Of course fabric puff paint!!! So to Michael's I went. I bought my black puffy fabric paint for $0.99 and away and I went. So here are my day of undies. They are cotton hipsters from Express. I can't wait to wear them!!!! All the colors of my wedding play in. |

Wedding Hair Style
New hair style
A fellow knottie got married a few weeks ago and she showed us her pictures. I fell in love with her hair.
My hair isn't as long as hers but we were actually going for the same style, just smaller curts at the bottom for me. I thought about getting extension clips but I ended up dying my hair a red color that I haven't seen extensions for. lol Plus I'd rather spend the money somewhere else. lol |

Marriage License
It's almost official!!!!
So last Friday, May 29, 2009, Mike and I went to the courthouse and got our marriage licesnse!!! It was super exciting!!!
I had butterflies in my stomach the whole day! Not sure if every state does this but we did pre-marital counseling through our church and we did sponsor counseling. When you complete it, they give you a certificate of completion that is certified by the church and the state. Well we got our fee waived and all we had to pay was the processing fee of $11. Yay!!! It worked!!! |

New Centerpieces
So I decided to nix the large and short centerpieces. I guess I'm just being a cheap bride. lol
So with our package with the reception hall, we get to used their centerpieces. They are giving us a square mirror, a small fish bowl and tealights. So I decided to go ahead and use theirs instead of spending even more money on them. So I am ordering a case of baby's breath and this is what I am going to do with them. I love them, they are simple and classy. |

DIY Wedding
Card holder (birdcage)
This is my card holder for the wedding. I bought it from another bride that had, I believe, 10 of them. She used them as centerpieces on her tables. She put pillar candles in them. Very cute in her pics.
Anyway, I decided that I wanted something other than a box for my card holder. No offense to those that are using boxes or hat boxes. These are the three colors of my wedding. Green, Black and White, so the white bird cage was perfect. This was one of the projects that I was doing last night. It looks super cute, but I may tweek it a little tonight. I think the ribbon needs to be a little tighter. It was kinda loose when I was making it. I love it!!! I'm so proud of myself. I can't wait for others to see it. |
