This is benitezwedding's Chocolate Wedding!

The brides maids dresses are going to be chocolate brown, but I'm undecisive if I should have a slight pink in there with like a sash or just leave all chocolate?

Well when I first started with this planning I was going with Green. Well then i was adding pink into it. Then I don't know! I just wasn't feeling those colors anymore. So I saw some pictures of the banquet where my reception will be and they had a reception with the pink/brown, and well lets just say I fell in love with the decor of the banquet. So I decided to change it. For this has always been my best two colors. My daughters nursery was brown and pink and I loved it.. hopefully I don't go and change everything all over again....

So the cupcakes are almost a for sure. Not taking the place of the wedding cake, but I'm seriously thinking about having a "sweets table" so that would be nice to have them. If not there then for sure just placed on the table per person... I'd bake them myself...
The cakes.... the first pic. I like minus the type of flowers on top just cuase the colors match. The second one I feel is beautiful. I would add some colors, maybe like the fourth pictures. However, I'm still not sure. Give me your thoughts.

If any of you are having pink and green. Give me some insight and some pictures...

So I have decided to go along with the dress tutu's for the girls. My colors are pink/green and this just matched perfectly. Me and my comadre will be making them ourselves so not only is it meeting the budget for all parties involved, they are super super cute. Also, the girls are my daughter (the one in the first picture) her name is Aryanna she's 1 1/2 yrs old. She'll be 2 the time of the wedding. The 2nd one is Bobbie she's my goddaughter she'll be 2 as well, and the 3rd one is Charlie and she'll be 3. Aren't they beautiful.

How long did you date before you got engaged?
Just under 4 years and 2 kids later

Did you get the ring you wanted?
I've always wanted the princess cute 3 stone ring "past,present,future" however, it wasn't the biggest, but I know our budget and I was happy. I waited a long time for this ring.

Was the proposal a complete surprise?
Yes, he did it on Christmas

Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small?
It will do. Eventually I know I will get the ring I want. I'm a full-time nursing student, and my FH is the only income for a family of four. So with in time.

Did you cry when he proposed?
I didn't cry, but I couldn't stop smiling.

Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you'd like.
I'd have to say it was creative. For so long I had bugged and bugged for a ring, and everytime I sort of set myself up for dissappointment. However, on xmas eve we allowed each other to open one gift and my gift was like a box that usually held like shirts or what not but inside was a smaller box and in the box was my ring.... If you knew my FH you would consider it to be CREATIVE :)

When do you want to go for your honeymoon?
I'm hoping for at least a week afterwards. I'm a student and we have two kids so we have to accomodate all of that.

Are you buying his wedding band for him?
Yes!

Have you gone over your original wedding budget?
Umm.. no not really. We are paying for our own wedding so we are making everything possible...

The ceremony is at the church. However, I haven't chosen if it's going to be inside or outside in their beautiful garden.. The reception will be inside the hall.

I haven't chosen it yet. Have looked at many examples, but still undecisive

I have to place in mind. It's either going to be at Lakeview Banquet in Orange County, or Sons of Italy reception Hall in Fontana,ca

In the first picture my first bridesmaid is my sister. The young girl on the left. She's my little sister, and I truly love her and I'm glad to have her to share this day with me as I hope I will be able to share such a beautiful day with her when this time comes. In the second picture is my 2nd bridesmaid Jenny. I have known her since high school, and we've made it through some tough times together so again I'm grateful to have her on my side on such a special day. The third picture is my bridesmaid Tabitha. She's known my FH since junior high and through the past years we've grown really really close. My FH and I will be baptising her little girl this coming weekend. The fourth picture is my friend Karina. I'm greatful to have her here with me. I've known her since high school as well and after four years of her being gone in the military and TWO deployments to Iraq I thank God everyday for her safe return. I can't wait for this day as we've seen each other through MANY tough times as well and we are still here awaiting the birth of her daughter, and watching my two kids grow and now waiting for this special special day of mine. Finally, the last picture is my maid of honor. This is my cousin Krystal. We are 9 months apart and age, and we have grown up together like sisters. Our Moms are identical twins and this past year we lost our Nana (grandmother) whom we were very close too and sadly physically my nana will not be present at my wedding, but spiritually she will and having my cousin there as my back bone on such an important day is such a great feeling. All these girls are a HUGE part in my life, and I'm greatful for their acceptance to be a part of OUR wedding. To cherish, share, and hold this memory forever!

So I had a little extra time to search for some stuff, and I really think I found some stuff to match my type of decor for the our reception. I'm on a tight budget, but want that beautiful:::beautiful::: wedding. I'm bound to make it happen. Good thing for crafts stores :)

OKAY SO ME AND MY FIANCE HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR A LONG LONG TIME. AFTER FOUR YEARS OF DATING AND TWO KIDS LATER WE HAVE FINALLY DECIDED TO TAKE THE STEP. MY WEDDING DATE IS APRIL 24, 2010 AND SINCE IT'S SPRING I HAVE CHOSEN THE COLORS TO BE GREEN & PINK. THE EXACT DRESS STYLE AND COLOR IN THE PICTURE ABOVE. I'M STILL A LITTLE UNDECISIVE ON FLOWER GIRL DRESSES. THE FLOWER GIRLS WILL BE OUR DAUGHTER ARYANNA (1YR) OUR GODDAUGHTER BOBBIE (1YR) AND HER SISTER CHARLIE (2YR) ALL THE GIRLS WILL BE A YEAR OLDER AT THE TIME OF THE WEDDING. HOWEVER, I'M STILL NOT SURE IF I WILL HAVE THEM IN TUTU DRESSES LIKE THE PICTURE (MINUS THE BIG FLOWER) OR HAVE THEM IN REGULAR WHITE DRESSES WITH THE GREEN TIE TO MATCH THE BRIDESMAIDS. I HAVE SELECTED A LOCATION IN ORANGE COUNTY FOR BOTH THE CEREMONY (OUTDOOR) BY A LAKE AND THE RECEPTION WITH A BEAUTIFUL VIEW (FACING THE LAKE), BUT SOMETHING INSIDE OF ME KEEP TURNING TOWARDS GETTING MARRIED IN THE CHURCH. SO I'M CHECKING OUT ANOTHER RECEPTION VENUE NEAR CORONA, CA AND SEE IF WHAT I FOUND ALREADY COULD POSSIBLY BE JUST AS GOOD IN BOTH LOCATION, AND PRICE RANGE. IF ANYONE IS HAVING SAME COLOR WEDDING. I'D APPRECIATE ANY IDEAS.... FOR EVERYTHING...
