Wedding Invitation
Our Comic Save The Dates

So our Save-The-Dates are coming right along. I had the idea of doing a comic-strip recreation of our engagement, and luckily I have a friend who does animation. She's been working on them for a few weeks now, and she finally has some of the finished stuff to show me. It's so cute, I can't wait!

The first panel will say "Save The Date" and will look like the title panel of a comic strip. The second panel is us sitting on the couch eating panda, and Josh sitting there nervously. The second panel will be him giving me the fortune cookie, and the last is of the fortune cookie opened to reveal "Will you marry me".

We'll have them printed out on postcards and the back will have all the information they need.

This is just flipping brilliant.  My FH is an artist, and we're trying to incorporate that into our invitations too.  Will definitely be showing him this tonight.

awww i saw something like this on etsy i think and i sooo wanted to do it, but we had already ordered save the dates, and they were too expensive!  i love the personalized idea of telling the engagement story.  what a good friend! :)
