This is bethanyashton90's Green Wedding!

So this is how it all played out..

It was on St. Patricks Day (one of my favorite holidays) and he wanted to take me out to dinner at this nice Itailian restaurant in Dallas that we've never been to. Exciting in itself, but i wasn't expecting what was to come..

I had a spa package that i needed to use so he insisted that i used it so while i was getting my massage he came to the lady at the front desk and gave her a green bear and a bouquet of flowers and made sure that she gave them to me when i got out. And when i got done i was taken by surprise when she showed me my gifts. I just thought it was a cute gesture and quickly thanked him for it.

He took me out to dinner that night and it was going great and he was saying that i needed to take pictures of the bear, and i was wondering the whole time why? But i just went with it..

After dinner "the plan" was to take pictures at these beautiful fountains..(i had written in my journal when i was younger that i wanted to get proposed to at those fountains, and he had read it a long time ago).

So when we arrived i was off in my own world taking my own pictures, but he quickly got my attention and asked if i wanted to sit on the bench. When we sat he got the bear that was with us the whole time and started to tear the back of it..and what do you know..the box with the ring in it was in there the whole time!! And another thing that was so cute was that right when he asked me i saw a flash, and i found out that he had asked his dad to come and take pictures :)

It was fantastic. And he asked me to be his wife, and of course i said yes!

And now i'm waiting everyday just to be his :)

Ok, so ever since i've seen that newer version of the movie Marie Antoinette, i've been obsessed with it. I have no idea why.. But their outfits are fantastic and i guess i have always wished that i lived in those times just to wear those dresses..

The fans, colors, cakes, decorations, etc..

So i'm trying to decide what from that movie I can incorporate into the wedding.

Any ideas?

Well, my grandma that lives in Arkansas came into town a few months ago. She only visits twice a year and she was sold on buying me my dress before she left. So we went shopping...

And we found the perfect one!!!

It also goes well with the theme i want.
