My Birch Bark Hearts from Etsy arrived!!
A couple of motnhs ago I fell in love with these litle birch bark hearts as a replacement for traditional boutonniere however the seller on Etsy had told me that Australia had stric import rules and that she could not make them for me. However I checked with quarantine ad they advised me that if the bark needed to be treated then it would take about a mont and I'd have to pay around $60. Which was okay with me so I advised the seller, and said lets do it! Yesterday I got home from work and they were in my mailbox waiting for me!! Yayayayay!
They didn't have any trouble getting through. So excited! |

Wedding Dress
Amara Royale - Dress fitting
So on monday I had my dress fitting. I had ordered 2 sizes smaller than what I measured at when I went and ordered it back in August 2010 and since then I have lost 8 kilos. The dress nearly fit perfectly, the bust and waist are a match, however I need to lose about 2-4cm off the hips for the dress to fit over correctly (its a bit bunched up) I do have another 5 kilos to lose to get to my ideal weight before the wedding, so hopefully if I try harder I will get there before the big day! Eep!

Wedding Dress
Amara Royale - Ivory with Pewter
I am having my firs dress fitting on monday! So excited, however, I am still a little way off fitting it I think! Has anyone else worn the Amara Royale to their wedding? I ordered a Size 8, but I probably should have ordered the 10, as I would fit the 10 perfectly right now and there is less than 2 months to go.
Anyway would love to see some pics of people wearing this dress!! |

We are having our ceremony outside, we are keeping the guest list to about 70.
Reception will be held in a marquee by the lake a the Yacht Club. Theme will be shabby chic/classy elegance. Colours are Black white/ivory and Pewter/silver.
