So I finally had my invitations made and all mailed out....

I was so not sure of when I was supposed to mail out my invitations....thank god my friend Gina has been helping me out with this wedding stuff since she is a wedding planner.

So i was gonna order them online but wasnt sure of the wording and all that stuff, so I went to an invitation store and bought them there.

I had originally ordered black pocket invitations with hot pink paper and silver ink but once they came in the silver ink was too hard to read so we had to re-order them with black ink.

They turned out beautiful and mailed them out as soon as i got them lol...........

The pictures look dark but the pink is alot brighter

CANDY BUFFET

FAVORS

So I decided on doing a candy buffet as our favors. I've looked at a ton of pictures for idea's and I just think they look so nice.

I'm trying to find candy that is all pink and silvers. I found some items so far like Hershey Kisses, Pink gumballs, and Good & Plentys.

I also ordered white chinese take out boxes that I'm wrapping pink ribbon around with a label in middle with our names and date. I had wanted pink boxes but the white ones were $60 cheaper.

I purchased all kinds of glass apothacary jars in different sizes. Also silver scoops that I'm wrapping a pink ribbon around the handle. I cant wait!!

Colored Shoes??

So I seen a bunch of people on here asking about if they should wear colored shoes or not.....

My colors are watermelon pink and silver. I was originally looking for white or silver shoes but now I've been thinking of hot pink?? I think it looks super cute but really no one see's them...Not sure what to do. I mentioned it to one of my bridesmaids and she thought I was crazy...lol.

Has anyone found cute hot pink shoes for their wedding?
I was thinking maybe a sandal kind since rthe wedding is in August.

CENTERPIECES

Big and Tall

So i went to do my centerpieces. The radisson actually includes them in with the cost so I got to choose between 2 different florist. There is one very close to my home so I went there.

The flowers I chose for the bridesmaid bouquets will actually be the same for my centerpieces!!!

I wanted a tall vase with a bunch of flowers in it. The vases are a clear glass there so nice! I was thinking of doing every other table tall then the opposite short but I didn't really like the way it looked in person so I just went with the tall. I'm also doing a candy buffet so I got 2 centerpieces to go on that as well, but more about that later! =)

Bed Bath & Beyond

So we finally did our registry woowoo!

We went to bed bath & beyond just because we love there stuff!!!

It was really fun going around and finding stuff we needed for our house. Rob liked it he, usually does all the cooking so he got to put all the stuff he needs for it. We were there for almost 2 hours!!

Our shower is June 14th at the eagles club. I cant wait. I still cant believe how fast everything has came!

Wedding Hair Style

Long Hair

So my hair is pretty long but I'm having my wedding in august so I'm not sure how I wanna wear it. I always pictured it all pulled up but now I'm thinking half up half down. My hair dresser will be doing it for the wedding and I love the way he styles it. He showed me a couple pics of how to do it.

I also am wearing a tiara and a veil, but I didn't get a long veil and I don't want it covering my face.

So hopefully I can figure it out soon.

I uploaded some pics of idea's I have for it to be styled.

Wedding Dress

**The Dress**

I always had in mind what my dress would look like. Ever since I was little I wanted a big fairy tale princess wedding with this big pretty dress.

I looked in so many magazines for idea's. I fell in love with Maggie Sottero dresses. I think they are so gorgeous. I love almost every dress that I've seen of her's. When I actually went to try on dresses I went to David's bridal and unfortunately they don't carry any of her designs. I was so bummed. I didn't even know of any place near me that did.

After a million dresses I had found one by Oleg Cassini. It was the one. I purchased it as soon as I knew. I love it.

Although I already got my dress I cant help but keep looking online and in magazines just to see if I'd find one I liked better. So far I still haven't found any that beat this one. Rob yells at me all the time for keeping to look but I can't help it lol.

If I ever do find a Maggie Sottero dress I just might have to buy it......

5 tier

I knew right away I wanted at least a 5 tier cake. I always loved really big cakes.

I wasn't sure on the square or the round. Our reception hall includes the cake from a little Italian bakery. We went and looked at all of our options to choose from.

There were so many flavors and icings to choose from. Since our wedding is in the summer I wanted a light and fluffy cake. Me and Rob both fell in love with the strawberry filling and white cake. It was perfect for the summer time.

After trying to decide on the style of cake we ended up choosing a 5 tier cake that is white icing and watermelon pink ribbon wrapped around each tier. It's perfect!

The Bouquets

Our colors are watermelon pink and silver so I decided to go with bright pinks and orange colors.

I wanted a different kind of flower instead of the normal roses. My bouquet has 2 big white lilies in the middle as the focal point and then there is hot pink gerber daisy's, carnations, and roses.

The bridesmaids bouquets are 2 hot pink roses, 2 hot pink gerber daisy's, and 2 orange lilies.

The junior bridesmaid bouquet is the same but only 1 flower of each.

The flower girl is carrying a ball of hot pink roses.

The groom is wearing a hot pink rose for his boutonniere.

All of the groomsmen, junior groomsman, dad's, and grandpap are wearing a light pink rose.

Watermelon Pink

So my favorite color is pink! I love pink and I think it is just such a girl color. I knew right away that I wanted to do my color for the wedding pink. Rob on the other hand wasn't a big pink fan, but he was able to agree on the girls wear pink and the guys will wear silver. I think they go great together!!

In our wedding party we have 7 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, 1 junior bridesmaid, 1 junior groomsmen, 1 girl ring bearer, and 1 flower girl.

I chose davids bridal for all of our dresses. I took all the girls out and they tried on a couple different styles. I wanted long dresses since it's more classier. We went for a long strapless dress.
