308 days!!!!! and feeling a little lost/Nervous
It feels like it is forever away and i guess thats a good thing because We have so much left to do!!!! I did a little to do list just for my mom and it was 3 pgs long and i can keep adding and adding to it if she'd let me. (she took it away lol)
I have so much that i need to do but I just dont have time to do it. I had to take on a second part time job recently. To help pay bills and save for the wedding. My FH works in construction and this year our summer has been a wet one so he hasn’t been able to work very much. Which is killing him because hes a workaholic! So Im back bartending during the night and at the Cosmetic counter during the day. Which leaves me know time to call around to rental companys or sit down and work on the -invitations -guest list -Addresses- And all that jazz. This is leaving me feeling sick. Theres so much to do and I have no time to do it. So my mom has started to pick up the slack which is making me nervous!!! Shes acting as a wedding planner which im sure is gonna come back and kick me in the A$$ but honestly I cant afford to hire a professional. I keep on reminding her no matter what Mike and I have the final say. So shes been running everything by me and giving me the best options and i get to pick what i want. I gave her my final number of the guest list and she is now on a mission to get their addresses. So now theres less than 10mnths away and Im finding myself lost... THANK HEAVENS FOR MY MOM!!!! |

STD CARDS ORDERED!!!!!
So i took your advice amcs76 and bride2be0309
and i went on vistaprint.ca and uploaded my original and played about with it. I didn’t get to fancy, I like it simple. But I did change the back round and text to the wedding colours. I just wish I could have had more of a variety. They had their own colour combos to choice from which didn’t really match all my wedding colours. But then again if I were to have them all it would look like a invite to the circus which wouldn’t be good. So I picked pink and lime green with chocolate brown txt. They are my main 3 colours. All Im missing is orange So hopefully that works. I’m so excited I can’t wait to have them!! |

Is there a polite way to ask for ppl not to bring their kids to the wedding?
So my FH and I were thinking about having the wedding be 19+.
Not that we are having an open bar or anything. We would just prefer not to have to worry about them running around and misbehaving. So I was just wondering is there a nice way i can put it on the invitation or should I leave it up to word of mouth? The only kids that will be there are our nieces and nephews and they are in the wedding party and will be going to a babysitter for the reception. I no etiquette says that the people addressed on the envelope are the people invited. But I know from experience that people have hand written on the RRSP cards there kids names. I want to avoid this at all cost! I don’t want to have to call up these people and tell them there kids are not invited. So if any of your ladies know of the right way to go about this that would be great... Do I put it right on the invite? How Do I word it? HELP HELP HELP!!! I’m starting the invites this weekend and I want to know how I go about this. So Any help would be great!!!!! |

I finally found got how you make those cute pom poms almost every ones posted in there blog.
www.marthastewart.com Hanging Pom-Poms 1. Stack eight 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue. Make 1 1/2-inchwide accordion folds, creasing with each fold. 2. Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded or pointy shapes. 3. Separate layers, pulling away from center one at a time. 4. Tie a length of monofilament to floral wire for hanging. It sounds great and easy but im not sure.. Im gona give them a try this weekend and Ill post the finished product     |

I had seen it in one of jennainterna blogs and I decided to take a peek. And they have amazing dresses for cheap cheap! They are coming from china and the shipping is free. I’m just worried about the quality. So if any of you have ordered and had either a negative or positive experience please let me no! I found cute flower girl dresses for only 79.99 and some really nice BM dresses from 99-119 and for that I’m ready to order them now... There are even some really nice wedding gowns from 129-140 and up! My fav wedding gown is the one in the last picture. |

ADDICTED 2 WEDDING SHOPPING!!!!
I know I can’t be the only one who is addicted to shopping for the wedding. I just happen to be addicted to going to goodwill and seeing what they have in their house wears department.
I’ve been collecting my centerpieces for some time now. Wrought Iron candelabras in different types and sizes. I like the idea that not all tables are going to look the same but all have the same coloured candles. I’m thinking off white. I find myself going in to the 3 around where i live once or twice a week. I originally needed just 25 and now i have like 30 lol :S I know i will need some for decorations, but i think I kinda went crazy lol Have any of you other ladies gone a little crazy with your shopping... please please please tell me Im not the only one. |

SO SO SO SO EXCITED TEHEHEHEHE!!!!
I am so excited!!! I found Michaels ring!!! I haven’t yet told him im gonna keep it a surprise. Not sure when Im gonna show him it or give it to him. Im just so excited :D
I asked him a few months ago what kind of ring he wanted. He said he wanted one like his grandpa’s. I had never seen the ring in real life and the family is unsure where it is... So I had to do a little research. Ok so it’s about 4 months later I found one almost exactly like the original. I wish i had a picture but my cameras dead : ( The ring looks like the one in the first picture but has a red stone like the second So I will post later... Anyways I’m just so excited! Any ideas ladies on how I should show him? Or should I save it for the big day??? |

S.O.S ME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so question ladies,
Have any of you ordered your dress or you BM dresses off line??? If so do you have any suggestions on which sites you have ordered from and had a pleasent experince with? I'm looking to not spend a whole heck of alot on the dress. I havent had any good experinces with the bridal shops around where i live. They have been nothing but rude to me. even with appointments they see me and I dont know if its becuase of my age (21) or what. I made the mistake of walking into the first shop with my hair pulled back jeans on and no make up and they never gave me a second look. so after that anywhere i went into I tried to look my age lol but when they ask my budget and i say $1000 and under they send me to the clearence rack and thats that. I dont even want to spend that much! Id rather have 2 one for the ceremony and one for the reception for the $1000 than just one... So I had seen on other post that have mentioned ordering off line so i thought it wouldnt hurt but ask :D Any ways ladies Any Suggestion?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? lol |
