We had an accident. :(
The wedding almost didn't happen last week.
Six days before our wedding date, we were in a cave and a 275 lb. boulder my fiance (now husband) was repelling from, broke out of the mountainside and caused him to fall the rest of the way. Then the boulder landed on him and I watched it happen and it was a nightmare and it still keeps me up at night.
Search and Rescue had to haul him out and it took over 4 hours. I held him in my lap and tried to keep him awake while the couple we were with went for help in an area with no phone service. It sucked. I hate caves. We're never going caving or rock climbing again, and I never want to feel like I'm going to lose my sweetheart again. It's the worst feeling, I assure you. I was screaming from the top, looking down on him motionless. He was released from the hospital the day before our wedding, and since we already postponed our wedding once, we went ahead with it. He was drugged up, but he was so happy anyways. We ended the reception a little early because he was dying by the nighttime. It was still a beautiful and perfect day, and we're so glad we did bridal/groomal shots together before the accident so we have pictures with his arm not in a sling. He had a couple surgeries and his bones stuck out of the skin in two spots, so the doc said no to our honeymoon. We're hoping the doc will let us go this weekend or next, because otherwise we'll be eating our money that we saved for a year to honeymoon with. That's 6k. :( But I'm glad he's alive! And we're married! |

Honeymoon
3 Week Honeymoon??
Because of our moved wedding date (10/7 to 11/12), after our two week honeymoon we are in black-out flight times and can't use our free flights to fly home (two days after Thanksgiving). We both have accumulated free flights because we did a long distance relationship for a year, rotating every weekend.
Instead of spending $950 to get home anyways, we are going on a third cruise, flying home another week later on a free flight, and that will actually be less expensive than the $950. Cruises are so cheap! That's even balcony on the second largest cruise ship. Hopefully we aren't sick of cruising by then... Crazy. So my first day off work is November 11th, and my first day back is December 6th. However, MENTALLY I'm already gone. ;) It's so close!! UPDATE: Royal Caribbean is happy we booked a 3rd cruise and upgraded our suite, and balconies on all cruises and put us up in a hotel the night between the 2nd and 3rd. =) |

I just bought my bridesmaids this cute cosmetics travel case. It's essentially "crushproof," and has their initial on it. I will fill it with goodies. =)
They are 8 1/2" x 5 3/4" x 5". I think I want one for myself. And pink and black are two of my colors. These are inexpensive, but had good reviews. Honeymoon
We booked it. Finally!!
We booked our honeymoon (Ben calls it the horneymoon) and we are stoked!!
We went on a cruise this summer and decided that we wanted to do that for our honeymoon. Soo...we are going on a Western Caribbean cruise followed by an Eastern Caribbean cruise. One ends the same day the other one sails. One of the ships is the largest ship in the world, the Oasis of the Seas!! Going to back to work after all this is going to suck! haha |

Disneyland Ambassador!!
It paid off to change our date. =)
Congratulations to my sister who was named an Ambassador this morning for the Disneyland Resort. How exciting!!
We moved our date because she either missed the wedding, or missed Ambassador stuff. Glad we didn't make her miss Ambassador stuff. The elongated canvas we received a couple of weeks ago was re-printed and still it was elongated. They gave us our money back and we aren't giving them anymore business since they were jerks. We are having it printed elsewhere right now. |
