LADIES I NEED UR HELP BADLY..... I HAVE POSTPONED THE DATE MULTIPLY TIME AND REFUSE TO DO IT AGAIN (ITS NOT AN OPTION) AND BEING THAT WE JUST FOUND OUT WE ARE EXPECTING I HAVE LIL TIME TO FIT INTO MY DRESS. SO I NEED YOUR HELP WITH FIXING THIS BUDGET

Are there other vehicle options besides limos? Something smaller? Can you cut down the time you need the limo? Are you renting or buying linens? Check places like kijiji or craigslist; there may be some cheap used ones to buy or other ones to rent.

I agree about cutting the limo cost. Also, you might want to get rid of the dj & just use an ipod/speakers (that's one way we're saving money). Are you renting china for plates? I just bought plastic "china" at costco & silverware from Ikea & turned out to be insanely cheap! Hope this helps.

We didn't have a limo - in my opinion, it's the easiest thing to cut. Where I live, the wedding parties usually just drive themselves. As far as place settings and linens go, do you have to rent? Can you change venues to one that provides that for you?

I agree with the limo! Thats the easiest thing to cut. And the silverware.. I was going to do what alwayshis said.. Get the plastic "china".. Way cheaper and it looks just as good! :)

I agree with everyone else. You don't have to get a limo, you can rent a nice luxury car for that day, it's much cheaper than renting a limo for a day. Table Linens check on craiglist and there are other brides on here that sell table linens also. You can use plastic china that looks real, that what I am doing , thats a good way to cut cost, people cut down the number of guest that cut down your food cost, Buffett style is cheaper. i also agree, cutting the limo down or I am thinking of asking a family friend that has a really nice car if we could use theirs and just pay them for the travel and gas!? Just an idea. And I think we are not doing a sit down dinner, and I think buffet is a little bit easier on the budget. Hope this helps, let us know if you need more help! :)

Check out www.bravobride.com and see if there's anything other brides are selling that you need and would be cheaper.

Limo I think should go...like the others all said...it's one of the easiest. $300 for tableware - I would see if you could purchase for less. They make china like table ware now that looks super nice but cheap.

Limo! The limo is extremely high. Is it really necessary? Maybe you can condense it down to one for you and hubby only? Other ways of transportation can be considered.

Plate, Forks are they real, or plastic? You may get a better deal with going with plastic. We did that and it was extremely cheaper. We had the real looking silverware for 80 guests at $35.00 at Smart n Final. Plastic square plates from Smartyhadaparty.com (BUT their shipping was exprensive). Party City had the same plastic ware and I could of saved $100.00 in shipping alone.

I wouldn't say cut down the staff, that I highly recommend!

Table Linens: are your renting or is it plastic? I loved Efavormart.com for my cloths for 10 tables. It was cheaper from them at $4.95 shipping at all times.

Does your venue supply anything? Plain table cloths or anything? I would cut the limo that's a want not a need. I'm not sure what the staffing part involves. I am sure you can do a lot better for cost on the plates/silverwear, I would go to dollar stores and get their colored plates etc. or ikea or just get plastic everything. What are your other expenses???

We dont even have a limo...we are taking our cars lol. so classy right?! i splurged in other areas so i had to cut back on that area. I dont think a limo is entirely a must....and why is the staff so much money?!?! eeek lol

If it were me I would say cut the limo cost! It would be nice and luxurious.. but its only ONE day (thats what i have to keep telling my self) and its something i bet you could do with out!

Agreed on limo cost. Do you really need them? We're just going in out own cars too.

instead of staff, ask family and friends if they know anyone that can work it for cheaper. alot of my employees are helping out at my wedding with serving food and the bar,.. all i have to do is give them a meal...
