To eliminate the I can'ts and I won'ts me and my FH decided to just have a MOH and BM. The BM is so excited, but as for me I am searching for a new BFF.
This is exactly what we are doing. 1 MOH for me and 1 Best Man for him. Im so happy we chose to do it this way, and even though I dont have a lot of my friends/family in the wedding party they are still taking a lot of interest, and offering a lot of help, in the wedding.
we did the same thing. It was either 1 or 6, lol. It worked great, no hurt feelings, no stress or arguing over dresses. Me and my sister went to look for some fabric we liked, picked some brown silk and she got to choose the style. (that's how my wedding colours were chosen, lol)
I have to say that I am envious that you are doing this!!! I have had MAJOR drama over who is and is not included in the wedding party! Ughhhh....so wishing we had done this!

We have included two people each who mean a lot to us, only my MOH is blood family. so you don't have to include family its whoever you want to be sharing this day with you.
I am including my closest friends in the wedding party. 1 MOH my H.S. BF), 1 honor attendant (my guy BF, which will walk my FH sister), 3 bridesmaids my sorority sisters (we pledged together), and 1 usherette sorority sister, and 1 MC sorority sister that will also be an usherette for the ceremony, and 2 flowergirls (my 2 and only nieces). No hurt feelings we included everyone that is closest to us and have delegated tasks to all.
I have 8 girls in my wedding party. 6 of my closest friends and then two jr. BM's. none of which are my 4 sisters. if i asked one sister then i would have to ask them all and honestly i don't want ANY of them in my wedding.
