I left the computer up and my fh looks at me as I enter the room and states....I hope this is not your dress because it is ugly. My theme is still Harlem Nights so I was looking for something that ties into my look!! Now it is back to the drawing board! The 1st dress pictured was my choice!

Where I have been
Wedding Still On!!
Hey ladies!! I have changed this date ummm...heck I can't even remember!! LOL!! So much has happen since I last been on so let me catch you up to date!!
My home is full of wedding things from my bedroom to my garage and it almost sadden me that we haven't walked across as husband and wife yet. I recently had surgery and this was the deal breaker and date changer!! I see many ladies on this site talking about their weight and go on crash diets to fit into that perfect dress. Well I had been there and done the diet thing and knew it was a no winner for me and decided to have weight loss surgery!! I had researched and researched lap band and knew it was a slower process but it was the surgery for me. I remember a friend of mine who was over weight and got married but later lost the weight stated, the one thing she would have changed was how she looked in her wedding pictures. I remembered her words and knew I didn't want to look (no offense to anyone) but huge on my wedding day because that is how I say me! Since meeting my fiance' I had gained 80lbs over the years of dating. That is a big difference!! But let me speed this up! I am now 5 months postop and have lost over 50+ pounds. Some think it is the easy way out but this change is challenging beyond words. Now that the weight is dropping I am ready to get this ball rolling and make my sweet and understanding fiance' my husband!! I will fill you all in some more or you can follow my journey on youtube! I was a shame at first to tell people that I had the surgery but this is my life and my choice!! FH Not taking it well
Lost of a brother
My Fh lost his youngest brother over the weekend who was in the wedding. He was only 32 years old and died from a aneurysm. My FH was sitting watching T.V. and goes he was in the wedding and tears began to fall. It hurts me so much to see him hurting. Keep us in your prayers.

Need your help!!
Hey ladies!!
I love!! I love!! Invitation #1 and think I could do it myself. It looks like white card stock that has a black border added to it and a ribbon. Then again it looks like white card stock on top of black card stock!! IDK so if anyone of you savvy ladies can explain to me how to recreate this invitation I would greatly appreciate it. Wholesale Roses!
I am a feather bride all day long but this rose material covered center pieces sure caught my attention!! I am thinking about alternating and having feather centerpieces in the same square vase and these small rose centerpieces picutred on the tables. What do you all think?
My sister has clearly stated to me that I better not go silk. So I need to find a inexpensive wholesale place that sells roses and I could have them delivered here a day before the wedding. Any of you know of a place?? |
