I AM AT A LOST!!!

Ok!! Why is it so hard to choose a location? I love the Tea Room two post down but you all would not believe the price. I'm all for making this a day to remember but I want to eat afterward also! Lol!!! The Tea Room rental fee is $3000.00 by itself and for the catering and bar it's $51.00 a person in addition to the rental fee!! Now with a guest list of 150 that's $7650 plus the $3000. Now that does not include center pieces or the cake.

So after some long thinking the Tea Room is really not a good option for me. My budget is $10,000 not a penny more!! I have watched enough of these shows to know you can have a fabulous wedding under $5000 but I'm not that savvy with looking for bargains so $10,000 it is!!!

I found another location that I have posted pictures of. This place is called Generations Hall. It is located in the center of New Orleans and the monuments around the outside of the building works wonderful as back grounds for the wedding pictures. This is a huge warehouse and just beautiful on the inside. The pictures really do it no justice but let me know what you all think!!!

I swear the venue was the biggest stress fir me too lol. The first place sounds really expensive and pretty much take sup all your budget without getting anything else. You might have to compromise..cheaper but not as nice... it be great to have the best of both worlds. The pics look really nice and open

Is the date or time flexiable.  Many vendors are willing to reduce the cost of venue for an earlier reception or a Friday vs. a Saturday

Deneanrae...this is killing me!! The place is open and spacious.

Sparklew...the Tea Room only decreased the rental rate from $3000 to $2000 for Friday or Sunday wedding.  Tisk... Tisk

I love this space! It has such an open and contemporary feel with the second floor overlooking the dance floor, and the exposed beams and such, it really has character!!

I'd go for the second option.  I like the openess of the ballroom and the view from above is breath taking.  You would have the most amazing photos from that angle!
